+1 Nekem a fogorvosom ajánlotta, amikor rákérdeztem, hogy melyik típus lenne a célnak megfelelő. Az érzékeny fogak miatt a 6100-as illetve a 6500-as közül választhattam (árban ugyanannyiba kerültek egy akció során).

That’s a great reason to switch — an electric brush can really help build consistency, especially if you struggle to stay on top of technique or timing. The Oral-B iO and Sonicare lines both do an excellent job of improving coverage since they guide you through the process. For what you described, the smart feedback features actually help — pressure sensors and zone tracking are great for forming habits. The trick is not to overpay for features you won’t use daily. The mid-range models (like Oral-B iO5 or Sonicare ProtectiveClean/ExpertClean) hit the sweet spot with powerful cleaning, gentle gum care, and useful guidance without the luxury-tier price tag. I’ve reviewed several of these electric toothbrushes — including which “smart” features actually make a difference — here: https://greatestappliances.com/bathroom/personal-care/toothbrushes-electric You’ll find a few dependable picks that are perfect for turning a “bad brusher” into a consistent one.

Kohls accidentally sent us a Sonicare toothbrush years ago when I ordered pants for my husband. I looked up the model and it was $149. They said to keep it. It is still going strong. My husband liked it, but wanted his own instead of swapping heads and has purchased at least 3 Sonicare brushes in the $20-40 range that have failed in the time we've had this other one. Luckily, no mold, but maybe it is because we swap heads for my kids, so it never stays dirty...if some toothpaste gets on the body, I clean it.

I’ve tried going without my electric toothbrush in the past, but I always regret it. It’s become a non-negotiable for me! I have a Philips Sonicare from Costco, and the case actually has a built-in USB charger so it’s perfect for travel. The charge lasts several weeks, though, so I’ve only needed the charger on longer trips.

RDH in field 15 years. Oral b is far less abrasive. I see a lot of recession and abrasion with the sonicare
