Dang, I got fancy toothbrush too, but not $0 ETV!
It was this one: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FLR42SB6](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FLR42SB6) I think the ETV was $129 at the time. Still, I like it, so it's not a total loss haha.
The Suri 2.0 electric toothbrush is pretty solid. Just got it so can’t speak on its long term sustainability, but that’s the ethos of the company.
No just the 2.0!
Best option is the Suri. While direct usbc charging isn't going to happen cleanly versus a separate charger becuase of the water, the new version has a smaller USBc charge case. The new 2.0 has a travel lock which is what I really wanted on the v1 after a number of embarrassing airport fumbles 😄
My SURI just died before it randomly started turning on and off (in the middle of the night). I know my friend has had the same issue and while the idea behind the product and long battery life is great, it's so full of design flaws. Also coming out of sustainability design, it's just not made from a sustainable perspective. Poor product design with a load of greenwashing attached to it.
I just got a Suri 2.0. I don’t recall the specifics, but I think the heads are spoze to be non-plastic materials.
Another vote for the Suri here, came from a Sonicare and every issue with the Sonicare is solved by the Suri (bulky size, terrible battery life, hard to clean, ridiculous features). Strangely Boots in-store had far better offers than even their own website, was about £85 for the Suri 2.0 with the UV sanitising travel case.
Same here. It just does a better job than the others too.
I have the Suri with integrated case (and UV light sterilization). It’s bigger, but uses the same charge cable as my phone and tablet. And UV cleaning is great in travel. “Fresh” brush head daily, almost. My case is much smaller than the one my partner has for his Phillips. But his paste and floss fit in there.
About 2 years ago I wanted to switch to an electric toothbrush and settled on [Suri](http://www.trysuri.com). It is a sustainable electric toothbrush with plant bristles. When you buy replacement heads, they send you a bag to send your old ones back to be recycled. I had an issue with the toothbrush randomly turning on and their customer support was great and sent me a replacement. They also sent a box to send back the defective one so they could properly recycle it. (My wife's brush never had a problem and was bought at the same time). Also, I didn't go to the dentist for probably around 8 years, went back recently (after using this brush for 1 1/2 years) and the hygienist was very surprised by how little plaque I had for not going to the dentist for so long (I attribute that to this toothbrush!!) Good luck on your search! I remember it being draining trying to figure out which electric toothbrush to buy first.
Yup, ordered one and have been using since when switched from Sonicare around two months back. Yes, Suri isn’t generally aware of Swiss Customs charges and limits. So, you will receive a customs bill. What Suri is great at is with their insanely good customer service. They refunded the entire bill to my original mode of payment once I shared the bill with them.
Yup, the vibration, the magnetic wall holder, the charging case, travel charger are all good. I used to miss the sonicare app, but I now manually turn on two minute timer and follow the circular routine I used to, so all good.
