**UPDATE: I've tried a few. Edits are below. TLDR: Usmile Y10 is the best as of Feb 2026.** Here's what DOESN'T count: * Anything USB-A to USB-C. We need proper C to C charging. * Anything requiring a travel case or base to charge. We need charging directly to the brush. * The Sonicare One. This thing is a piece of garbage that barely vibrates. So far, the only thing I've found is this [SOOCAS toothbrush](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CDPTQH9Z?th=1). I've been using it for 6 months and it's fine, but not good. Its memory and vibration settings are really annoying and require lots of button pressing. It also has bugs with the vibration intensity that are a nightmare to deal with. I'm just shocked that there isn't a single premium toothbrush that's truly portable. Is there one that I'm missing? And for the love of God don't mention the piece of trash that is the Sonicare One. I live on the road due to my work, so every piece of extra weight is not ideal, including the bulky travel cases and bases. Surely someone has made a properly portable electric toothbrush by now. EDIT 1: I tried the [Oclean](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZ18Z768?th=1) and I don't recommend it. It's only USB-A to USB-C (confirmed through my own tests), has very weak vibration, and I despise the "one button does everything including cycling modes and controlling power." One button toothbrushes with 3 useless extra modes that I accidently have to cycle through constantly is such a pain. Same issue I had with the SOOCAS above. I will continue updating as a try more and record my top choice. EDIT 2: I've tried the [usmile Y10 PRO](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D31TCH66) and I like it. This will be my main until I find something better. It's proper USB-C (C to C cable works) and has a separate function switching button. I don't love the heads and the vibration isn't perfect, but this will work well for now. Also to future readers: ignore the comments about waterproofing the USB-C port. I had the Soocas for many months with zero issues, and the port cover never failed. The usmile has been good so far and has a very nice port cover that's easy to open and close. EDIT 3 (Feb 2026): I've had the Usmile Y10 since June 2025 and I still love it. No issues at all with water in the C port or anything like that. The only con is that the replacement heads are a bit expensive. Heads up: Usmile's water flosser does NOT use a USB C port. It's some proprietary connection. I returned it.

Nice! I just got this one and I like it. Do you know of any off-brand brush heads that are compatible with it?

My uSmile y10 charges perfectly fine with my 100W (and any other PD charger) charger with a C to C cable. It has a rubber cover on the bottom that covers the USB C port and keeps it waterproof when in use.

Don't think it brushes any harder than my old Oral-B brushes. Yes, it does have a timer for every 30 secs, then 2 minutes, then lastly at 4 minutes, at which point it automatically stops.

Can't really help there mate, I only have my old Oral-B to compare to. This feels significantly more powerful and my teeth do feel quite a bit cleaner with it.

I also have a uSmile, charging, no matter what way is a non-issue as it lasts several months on a battery (yes I brush twice a day). Only complaint would be that the original brushes are just as expensive as those for an Oral-B.
