Bean_Deals 1.0Decent has updated a few parts moving from version 1 to version 1.45 over the years. And just came out with their luxury Decent Bengle earlier this year. Anyway, I think it’s cool to see competition in the space and I see exposing the data from espresso shots as a natural evolution of the industry. I think Decent has welcomed competition in the past so no need to make this into a turf war. Both companies together can pave the path of showing consumers a more advanced way to pull shots. I haven’t looked into the Wendougee but not doing temperature profiling is a big thing. One of the things I love about the dark roast profiles I use is they taper down the temperature over time to help avoid over extraction.
