Not sure which Classic youād get for ~ā¬200, but I moved up to an E24 from a Dedica 785. Iāve enjoyed consistency ever since specially when it comes to temperature and brewing parameters. Dedica has some QOL features like shot programming, temperature settings, but thatās all that comes to mind. Footprint is nice too. Itās certainly capable of making great espresso but the consistency can be hit n miss. Hated getting lukewarm shots. Things i love most about the Gaggia E24; heated grouphead, extreme temperature consistency (every shot is the same once itās heated up for ~10 minutes), comes with single walled baskets, 3 way solenoid, and an actual 7g single shot basket which is my primary basket. I do miss the automated brewing of the Dedica, but the all-manual brewing on the Gaggia has grown on me. Worth the upgrade, and very much worth the price. If you follow a consistent preheat routine with the Dedica, I donāt think youāll be disappointed with it. Sorry if I missed out on anything, but feel free to ask!
the dedica line has various trims that have different features. if you like the idea of automatic milk texture then it's the Bambino plus or dedica maestro. I prefer the dedica line steam wands over either Bambino myself, with the exception of the very basic dedica models that have panarello wands.
We buyed Delonghi Dedica and it is really great. Now I need some advice for some quality grinder. We use pre-ground coffee and espresso latte is really amazing.
Boss, Dedica is your best bet in 20k - reliable, community-backed, works well enough despite no solenoid/temperature control. I myself started with this, then upgraded later. Gaggia & Hibrew are better ofcourse if you stretch budget. They will give you a more 'true espresso' feel. Avoid AGARO/Wonderchef/Black+Decker for long-term use, good for beginners but weak build quality and Morphy/Ariete are hit-or-miss, poor service. Hope this helps. Enjoy brewing :)
That's probably because many buyers must be beginners who rated. They must be expecting cafe style results š. I took it on a friend's recommendation wgo runs three coffee shops. In entry level segment, dedica is well regarded globally. So, My take boss - Try it, enjoy it and upgrade :)
Nice danke.
