Had ours about a year and half. Absolute game changer! Use it everyday, and couldn’t be happier. Enjoy!
I'd want to know too- took me years to finally figure out their, there and they're and I'm better for it! I probably should have said congrats on the machine BTW. You enjoying it? I find it has the best espresso extractions and best milk frothing of any automatic in its price range.
I rarely make milk drinks, but I like having the option from time to time and for guests. My Eletta explore with local beans makes outstanding espresso. I love it.
I'd recommend a DeLonghi, but I am bias as my experience with my DeLonghi Eletta Explore has been fantastic. It does all types of milk extremely well.
You’re going to get people who swear by both brands, because both brands are good. I researched both endlessly and ended up with a Delonghi Eletta Explore and it’s been my favourite appliance ever since. I’m sure there are people who chose the KA and feel the same way.
Eletta Explore will do double grind tall americanos that can be up to large travel size. Also, if you prefer to maximize your coffee ratio, you can just keep doing doppio+ with the lowest water setting, then use hot water to fill. I think the Eletta allows for the largest cup size of any superauto.
i am obsessed with this machine - upgraded from Phillips 3200 night and day .. my lattes tastes so good ..
Delonghi eletta explore has been great. The milk jawn can be done in dishwasher top rack every 3 or so days. After each milk drink, it flushes it and you can put back in the fridge. Incredibly low maintenance and dishwasher friendly have been great.
Went with the eletta explore a few months ago as well ...came from Nespresso to 2 different Philips super automatics and can say that the consistency and the drinks are a good bit better than the Philips. More ability to dial in settings and adjustments - plus the flip up tray that can accommodate yeti travel mugs is something I have not seen on any other machines. The ability to have the two different milk carafes (one hot and one cold) is nice but I wish the lids were secured - you just have to get used to that if you transfer them from the fridge to the machine like I do. All in all, I know it's not a Jura, but I can say between the EE and the Philips (still a great machine) go with the EE, you will not be disappointed.
