I have a Delonghi Rivelia and love it. I mainly use it for cappuccino mix that I programmed to fit my 16 oz cup. I came from a Kitchenaid semiautomatic machine.
DeLonghi Magnifica Plus is the way to go for budget <$1,000 USD. If you can squeeze a little more consider the newer DeLonghi Riviela holds several advantages like switching between beans, better milk system and broader range of drinks if that is important for your decision making. Good luck.
I recently got the Delonghi Rivelia and am very pleased with it. Plenty of reviews online, you can draw your own conclusion. Happy shopping.
Delonghi Magnifica Plus. Highest dosing machine, and can be dialed in to meet SCA extraction metrics. Other machines either dose too low and/or fall a bit short on the extraction. The DeLonghi Rivelia and Eletta Explorer are also solid options. https://tomscoffeecorner.com/delonghi-magnifica-plus-review-best-superautomatic/
My favorites was latte and cappuccino until I got my Delonghi Rivelia 1month ago and after trying different drinks the first day or two ive only made flat whites since lol(except from espresso). They are delicious and I drink 2-3 per day now haha. Edit: And you can get another milk carafe pretty cheap and use one for cow milk and another for nut milk!
I bought one and had it for 2 weeks before I got my money back and bought a Delonghi Rivelia instead and it is so much better than the Philips in every way, and especially noise levels and espresso taste!
I first bought a Philips 3300 and had it for two weeks. The coffee was ok(with good beans)but it was super noisy and hard to clean. So when i saw the Rivelia on sale I immediately sent the Philips back and got a DeLonghi Rivelia and it’s better in every way. The quality, the coffee, cleaning etc. I love it and have already gone through like 1.5kg of beans lol. It’s so silent compared to the Philips and makes good coffee even with cheap not so good coffee beans(same beans that tasted horrible on the Philips).
u/bababooy69 Great machine, we've had ours for 3 months now and still couldn't be happier! I think the reason why you don't see it all that often in this sub, is because in the US, this thing is heavily overpriced ($1,200 to $1,500). Here in Europe, you can get it for as low as 540€, which is an amazing deal for what this superauto offers.
Delonghi makes better tasting coffee, and it’s not even close, in my opinion
My two cents... I recently upgraded from a Philips to a Delonghi Rivelia. It has all the stuff you would expect like separate user profiles, customized drinks, milk frother, etc. for about $1400. But what sold me was the interchangeable bean hoppers. You can brew from a canister of one type of beans, and then switch (after about 3 draws of the old beans) to different beans. YMMV, but I think the machine is pretty quiet, especially compared to my old Philips. Cleaning is just emptying the drip tray and pucks, and rinsing out the brew group every once in a while. Parts (except the brew group) are upper tray dishwasher safe. I started with a Keurig. My Philips made much better coffee than the Keurig. And my Rivelia is much better than the Philips. So whatever you do, get rid of that effin Keurig.
I got [this one](https://www.delonghi.com/en-gb/c/coffee/coffee-machines/automatic-coffee-makers/rivelia) another Delonghi, beans in top, water in side, cup under spout and select your brew.
I also purchased the Delonghi Rivelia a couple weeks ago (found it on sale for 1199.99!) and so far I love it! Even purchased the separate attachment for iced milk drinks.
