Gemilai is good, just make sure na dual boiler. Tas invest the rest for a high quality grinder.
Yes I have a Gemilai :)
All these machines suffer from same issue - temperature control all of these and Bambino/Dedica/Solis/etc as well. You can expect very variable experience with espresso. But if you do milk drinks the espresso quality is deluded in milk taste and milk sugars. Also thier milk throthing will be slower than on dual boiler or dual thermoblock machines with bigger footprint resulting is overal cooler milk drink as your espresso waits. They all have different temperature control system on paper but what is RL would be hard to find someone who has two of these. If you want improove in your espresso quality changing small footprint machine to another one is not a solution. Also keep in mind all of these machine have its own workflow to get right temperature. Some need rinse before shot some need steam and wait exact time to shot etc. Espresso grade grinder is very important
I do not recommend as I do not know: I do not know what is available in your region. Also what is your service package requirements. How much you can put in this hobby? How deep you plan to travel to the rabbit hole? Do you have espresso capable grinder yet? Do you really like espresso and need it or coffe-latte is your drink? How long you ready to wait for machine to heat up to working temp? How many coffee in a row you make. just a warning agains trading six of one for half a dosen of the other. The thing is many people would drink from any of these machnie and say "ok". If you can track temperature issue in cheap machine there is big chance you ll track it in another cheap machine. Gemilai is bang for you buks atm if you looking at thermoblock machine -WPM. As any machine they might have issues so I would look for one with service terms in you location. Or their white-label clones. These I consider myself and would be cost-efficient. Featues per $. There is also option of modding any machine or second hand market or both. But modding is best on gaggia as it has most user base in modding. it's also cost efficient approach to get best out of less $. Also you can find temperature workflow for your existing machine. (mentioned those earlier)
Happy birthday and congratulations for your coffee conner! Actually i also have a Gemilai one and looks really great ! https://preview.redd.it/zgnozo099eog1.png?width=569&format=png&auto=webp&s=3a2c13ae0a81716c436714a9c700fafc3fef719e
Basta no to Gemilai. Sakit sa ulo samin. Nakailang balik na unit namin for service sa service center nila. Nasa 10x na siguro. Isipin mo Lalamove fees mo roundtrip eh from Batangas kami.
