If durability go for milesto since maraming copper parts hahaha. If home use lng. Go for DF64 or around 25K max sa grinder. Mag milesto ka if budget mo is around 30-40K. Heavier since maraming copper parts pero durable sya. Basta importantante is gumatos ka ren sa grinder. Kahit 50-50 or 60-40 at lamang grinder

Bought a Milesto EM19M4 yesterday haha. nasa list ko etong mga toh while choosing: 3006H - great features na gusto ko (may PID and dual thermoblock). Didn't get this kase dami kong nakikita sa previous model nya na 3006 na maramjng issue. Pero if home use lng eeh goods ren naman eto kaso hybrid use ako eh hahaha CRM 3026 - Dual boiler daw kaso walang PID and OPV. Dami kong nakitang nasiraan ren ng F connector due to maraming plastic parts AND not sure yet pero 3 thermoblock sya and which is for me ayoko ng naka thermoblock if gagastos naman na ako ng gantong pejce Anything other than this 2 gemilais sit at 40-50K na which is outside budget na Milesto Em19m4 - 1 copper boiler and 1 thermoblock for steaming and may PiD, OPV, hot water and napakaraming parts nyang copper parts ren. Kaya eto kinuha ko hahaha. medyo mabigat nga lng gawa ng sobrang sturdy ng machine and nung pumunta ako ng koryaiko to buy na. Kita ko yung 3026 at 3006H na doesn't feel too much premium and ayoko ung placement ng power switch may 3006H na nasa harap ibabaw ng drip tray. San nyo po ba pla gagamitin mainly?

Soooo many options. I will recommend based on the few I’ve owned. For the price, it’s pretty tough to beat the Gemilai G3006 “Owl” [Gemilai G3006](https://www.gemilai.com/products/g3006-espresso-machine-bf?variant=51921443160377) right now. It’s everything the bambino is, but standard e61 grouphead so endless options on portafilters, etc. It also steams VERY well for a thermoblock machine. There are also lots of excellent grinders in the $300 range that aren’t breville. I have a Starseeker Edge and it’s fantastic paired with the Gemilai. But you can’t hardly go wrong with a DF64 either. I’ve got a few posts on the Gemilai Owl if you want to see it and how you can set the OPV valve to dial in the pressure exactly where you want it.

Concur with the Gemilai. I have the 3006 “owl” and it’s a fantastic machine but thermoblock only. It still makes fantastic shots though and I can honestly get as good if not better stuff out of this machine than on our cafe’s Appia Life when I’ve got it dialed in! Gemilai is turning out some really great prosumer type machines for really great prices. If I were to upgrade to a boiler machine, I would also go with the 3028A. Based on specs alone, I can’t see how anything else comes close for $750. I see its on a valentines special for $640 USD which is crazy good for the price! They probably run sales in this price range frequently so don’t pay full price on it!

If I let it warm up for about 10 minutes with the PF in, it’s more than warm but not HOT like our Appia Life gets hot. However I’m comparing a $400 machine to a $8k commercial machine so as to be expected. Based on the 3028 design of the integrated boiler directly on the group head, I would imagine after 10-15 minutes of warming up that it’s pretty darn hot. The owl just uses an electric heater in the group head to heat it so it’s not going to match the water temp exactly but it is pretty hot. As for AliExpress I’ve never had a bad experience EXCEPT for getting the owl…. Sort of… So I ordered it thinking I got a great deal. No word from the seller after a week, contacted, they said it was in process and they’ll get a tracking number shortly. Week later nothing, contacted and they said sorry, there was a mistake and they were out of stock and to request a refund. Was bummed but I got my money back. Randomly three weeks later lo and behold what arrives on my doorstep? A now free to me Gemilai Owl 😊

Drop the 3006. Go for 3003b if you rarely do milk-based drinks & allocate the rest of the budget to a good grinder. If you already have a grinder, 3006H is a good choice - dual boiler (thermoblock), PID & pre-infusion. Take a look at 3007L & Milesto as well (EM19-M4 specifically). Milestos are generally better built than Gemilais.

Ok great. Yep, you’re right, and that’s exactly the biggest difference between the 3006 & 3006h. Plus, 3006h’s OPV will cut at 12 bar and there is a black & white version (coffee district only).

If a short heat-up time is important for you then the Lelit is not ideal. You'd probably want to wait a good 10 minutes for optimal stability. I was in the same spot and ended up choosing the Gemilai. Shorter heat up time, better price, current warranty is 2 years which actually better then what you'd get with the Lelit. Lelit is a much more reputable brand but I think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
