HiBrew H10A or h10+ based on your budget. The machine does it's job, has PID and temp control. I got one in Feb and really enjoying. If you're buying H10A, would recommend you to get a grinder too with the remaining budget. Pre ground vs fresh grind makes a lot of difference

Hibrew h10A is very solid entry machine ($219 in Amazon) and the Turin SK40 grinder ($200) not as easy to use in the beginning but once you understand it it’s an amazing grinder

I'm happy with my Hibrew H10A with PID and 58mm basket. I just saw they have a H10A that is Bambino like for 150. That has PID with 51mm basket.

You do need a grinder. It is the single most important part of the setup. Coffee is an organic ingredient and it ages rapidly the second it’s ground. Grinding fresh is the biggest upgrade you can make for coffee. At 30k, you’re not going to be able to get both a grinder and a good espresso machine, leaving you with two options: 1. Save more to get an electric espresso grinder like a Baratza Encore ESP and a decent machine like a Hibrew H10A. 2. Get a Timemore C2, a Bialetti Moka Express, and a Nanofoamer. You’ll have more than half your budget still left. It is not worth getting into espresso unless you’re investing a good amount into it. Speaking from experience.

I can’t comment on the Delonghi because I’ve never used it. I use a Hibrew H10A, and I’d recommend that anyway because unlike the Delonghi, it has a PID controller. But since Hibrew is a relatively new brand, we don’t know of the long-term reliability compared to Delonghi, who’s been around for over a century.

For 200€, hibrew h10a no discussion. Steel lined thermoblock, 58mm portafilter, temp display, pressure gauge, decent steam, with normal steam wand (no auto junk), and so on

Hibrew H10A was $200 last Black Friday. Probably as good as it gets for the price. [edit] FWIW, I own the H10A and it was a great beginner espresso machine for me. I use it daily to make flat whites. It's not built for life, but I haven't had an issues after a year of daily use. It's also well reviewed by YouTubers.

I also have a H10A and have made some incredible tasting drinks. It’s pretty much all plastic but it still runs strong.

r/espressoAnyone have any experience with this machine? Is a sufficient for a beginner or are there better options at this price point? [$279]

Hibrew H10A and a Shardor 64mm burr grinder for the win! My plan was to just use these until I was ready for a $1500 prosumer machine. Now I don’t see a reason to. I pull just as good shots as my buddies that have Decent machines and they agree.

Hey, for both of you, if you don't have a good espresso grinder already, get a good grinder first. With both of your budgets you can get a really good grinder. For 50k, I would suggest something like a baratza encore esp/DF 54 + hibrew H10A. If you want a better machine but cheaper on the grinder, maybe something like the bomber R3 + a gaggia/H10+ For 70k, that's a massive budget. Now PID is not the most important at least not in the beginning. Hibrew is very good but it's still new with a not so big community. No guarantees for its life but with good use ateasy 5 years minimum. Gaggia and rancilio on the other hand are trusted brands with massive communities, that you can mod later on. So upto your personal choice in the end. For grinder I would suggest something like the DF54/64 with your budget depending on the machine you get.
