Jura ENA 4 is as simple as it gets. I’ve given 3 of these to family members with no complaints.

r/espressoBest automatic espresso machine with grinder but without steam wand? [max €400]

For fully automatic, Jura ENA 4 (it will be above your budget). For semi-automatic, Breville (or Sage in Europe) Bambino - just ignore the fact that it has a steam wand. Pair it with Baratza ESP or DF54 grinder. If that busts your budget, get a Kingrinder K6 hand grinder. For fully manual, one of the Flair machines or Cafelat Robot.

r/superautomaticHigh-end super automatic owners (JURA, Miele, etc), what convinced you that you had buy one?

We had two Gaggia Breras in a row that had internal leaks, parts popping off, etc. and I decided I wanted the reliability of a Jura. Went with the ENA 4 for its simplicity. It has been great.

r/nespressoNespresso lovers that made the switch to a real espresso machine. Which one did you get? How much did it cost? Any regrets?

Jura ENA4 as a present from my job. I use it daily and my Nespresso has sit idle since.

Both are fine. Consider if you want something with an automatic milk frother, or a steam wand. Other good choices: Jura Ena, Delonghi Eletta or Rivelia. And congrats, super autos are big step up from coffee pods taste wise. And much cheaper in use.

We had one and the metal door that swings stopped working and so it won't transfer beans from the grinder to the brew basket. Switched to Oxo for brewed codeee and it makes hotter coffee. Just have to grind beans in advance. Meanwhile a Jura Ena is going strong after over a decade and thousands of uses, with one factory maintenance after the machine would not reset after each brew cycle. Easy customer service experience and was happy to have them work on the machine. It's been a tank. Well worth it.

I’ve had my refurbished Jura Ena for 6 years and it’s been rock solid. Highly recommend Jura.
