I went with the JURA x10 with waterline hookup. No regrets. This thing rocks

I did a lot of research and ended up buying a Jura X10 so I could purchase a waterline connection kit (using cleaning filters instead of tablets) and the attachable milk fridge to go with it. It's both extremely intuitive to use and requires very little cleaning. The office loves it.

Seconded. We got one of these last year after a lot of lobbying and research. If you use good beans it creates a decent/average espresso for a coffee snob and is easy to use for everyone else  The same beans are still gonna taste better at home but it gets the job done Edit - we actually got the X10 which is outside the stated budget.

This one is specifically made for offices. It’s push button not touch screen and has larger reservoirs for water and grounds so less cleaning/maintenance. We had a different more residential jura model before this one and the E8 is holding up much better  Edited again - I misremembered the model - we actually went with the X10 which has the features/advantages I stated above. Apologies as this is outside the stated budget Edited for spelling and an update

Not sure the exact right place to reply but we actually went with the X10 (not E8 as I originally stated) as recommend by u/leonard_the_leopard

Yeah Jura is the way. My company just moved into a new office and got us sorted out with Jura X10s with a little milk fridge on the side that holds a 4L jug of milk and keeps it cool. It’s been everyone’s favorite thing about the office so far! I think it ran them about $5k CAD per machine, plus the cost of the milk fridges.

Really depends, the X8 or now X10 is probably the better choice. The X10 has a 5L tank, cab make 2 milk drinks with one touch, is built for ~100 cups a day and qualifies for commercial service on site if needed. Using a home machine like the E8 in any commercial setting (at least in Canada) automatically voids the warranty

I think it would be an excellent choice. We use the Giga x8c for an office of 15 people. Works fine. Service once a year.

A Jura that can keep up that pace is also going to be out of your price range. You need light commercial. I always recommend considering a lease when it’s for an office environment. If you’re set on buying, you could look at the commercial Juras (there is one close to that price) and maybe look at the Saeco Magic. It’s an inexpensive light commercial but I don’t know much about its longevity.

It’s rated for that duty cycle, so it should be fine. I have a Giga 10 at home, so Jura is what I’m most familiar with. Keep in mind that you will need to purchase a separate milk fridge for most any of these machines if you want it to be ready to go with milk.

I would never go this route, tbh! Just buy a Jura X10 or Z10 and everyone can get really good coffee or espresso at the push of a button. It’s even easier if you add the milk fridge to stand beside it. I had a Jura Z10 before going in to manual espresso, and that machine was a work horse and made amazing coffee drinks tbh! It would slot right in to a office environment that wants good coffee/espresso/milk drinks. It’s not going to be the same espresso quality as a manual machine, but with the right beans you’ll get really good coffee and milk drinks, and passable espresso, and the machine takes care of itself. It’s easy to use, and Jura’s warranty and repair service are extremely good. You can service machines that are 20 years old and they’ll still fix them. They use a flat rate for repairs that’s very reasonable, so even if the entire machine's internals need to be replaced, you pay a fixed repair price Putting a manual espresso machine, even one that is easy to use will not be a fun time in the long run, at least if you are more than like 3-5 people, where you feel you can teach everyone to use it. But I still wouldn't do it with that few. Just pressing a button in a office environment will win every time in my book! I would specifically only buy a top of the line Jura tho! DeLonghi and other brands also have great machines, but they are not near the same quality when you look at the whole picture!

Hi I have the same machine. It's one of the best out there keep my grind setting at 4. I use 2% milk for the best froth for milk based drinks. Grinds are not all over as people suggested. Cleaning the brew group once a month submerged in water for 5 minutes. water filter is a choice. I use refrigerator water which has a filter plus I have no hard water. Lavazza supercrema beans I find the best for grind setting "4" for all coffees drinks but thats my taste. If you like very hot cappuccinos try the flat white to me provides hotter froth also on a regular cup of joe .You can use the hot milk setting just make sure you there to stop it.....lol. I have had philips latte go ,saco xelsis and( jura10 returned after a week). Youtube also has lots of videos too..... ....................
