Availability of the pods. Can’t say they don’t have some issues but my virtuo creatista is on point 99 % of the time

I just gave away my vertuo id highly suggest an original Nespresso way more variety and quality on the pods. However all of the have pros and cons . Pros Convince to quality ratio much higher than k cups Auto refill makes getting coffee and making coffee a brainless almost no effort process Cons All the coffee is pretty low quality (vertuo) Super expensive cost per cup Very limited in person options (vertuo) The fact 2 of the cons only pertain to vertuo lead me to recommend the original pod machines imo it’s a better cup but less “crema” As for reusable pods I thought they were ok but at that point I might as well pull a shot and make an iced americano on my espresso machine

OP this is an important question you need to answer. i tried to get almost same exact setup for my wife, but in the end she didn’t want the hassle, just wanted to push the button. i ended up returning everything and got the espresso vertuo and she loves it

I like Nespresso (vertuo) but I think it’s expensive for my daily habit. So I use drip coffee to start the day and have a Nespresso a few times a week. I’d use it more if the pods weren’t so much. I was never buying coffee at cafes much, so it’s not saving me money. It’s great though, and I hope you love it!

This 🤣 ☝for real!!! I have Nespresso OG and Vertuo, espresso, percolator, French Press, Mokapot, Keurig, and pour over. * Nespresso is the easiest and taste wise, not far from Espresso. and the best among non espresso machines. Espresso machines are very difficult to "dial in". More expensive the better. Price matters.

Taste wise: * If you are really good... Home set up > Cafe > McCafe > Starbucks * If the Cafe is really good... Cafe > home set up > McCafe > Starbucks Nespresso pods may be somewhere better than McCafe. Semiautomatic really depends but my experiences at shops and restaurants were really bad. Worse than Starbucks. $200 will get you Nespresso Vertuo machine to get started for mom. Check their sub. Avoid the Pop. Has high failure rates. Get N Deluxe if you can.

Have all Nespressos OG and Vertuo for my wifu. Go with Nespresso unless she knows this art. It's time consuming, and will hit a wall with frustration. It takes months or years to learn. If you have a barista or someone (like yourself?) who knows the art to help on the side it will be easy. On "busy" mornings, my wife takes her own Nespresso latte. And I use my machine in the mid morning. I occasionally make her early morning shots too when I'm not busy.

Buyer beware. I bought my vertuo less than a month ago and it’s malfunctioned three times. I regret my purchase

I had/have both. I just find the Nespresso SO MUCH more convenient. In the morning I want my coffee NOW. There is almost zero clean up- there is no work to it. My advice: go with the original and not vertuo. The vertuo pods ARE expensive, and you can only get them at Nespresso. The original pods are way cheaper- and you can get them from many other places- or even make your own.

Nespresso will often have sales. Typically you’ll get some sort of free gift or get a couple of free sleeves if you buy a certain amount. It’s hit or miss. I would purchase coffee from either a local coffee shop or Starbucks a few times a week when I had a Keurig. I’ve had a Vertuo machine for awhile and I haven’t purchased coffee from either of those places in months. So while the cost per pod is more than Keurig, I’m saving a little bit by just making my coffee at home.

I bought the Vertuo a few years ago before the price hike of their pods. If Nespresso continues to hike their price of their coffee, I will be getting rid of my Nespresso machine and going back to Keurig or another coffee maker. Don’t get me wrong. I really enjoy their coffee, but there has to be some breaking point when the coffee just becomes too overpriced for what you’re getting.
