We have [this](https://www.sharkninja.com/ninja-espresso-coffee-barista-system/CFN601.html) one from Ninja. I like that we can make multiple sizes of drip or use Nespresso compatible pods (we have the reusable pods we fill with local beans) to make lattes or similar. I would absolutely advise against Delonghi machines. We have had two in four years and both broke due to how they vented steam. Product support and service was awful both times.
How long does it take to make an espresso start to finish with this? For the past 3 years I have the Ninja Espresso and Coffee Barista. I love it, still works great, but I feel like I'm spending a lot of money on espresso pods, so I'm wondering if I should take the leap. I have a double shot in the morning before the gym as a pre workout so I don't want to spend too much time getting it together as I'm usually rushing. I already use Starbucks espresso roast for coffee in my machine, so I believe I could just continue using that for the espresso portion and the drip portion for the lux
I love my Ninja 601.
Someone else just recently made a very similar post and I think it has some answers that may be helpful. I don’t have the pro I have the 601 and what I will say is you can definitely make amazing drip coffee and all the espresso drinks. The 601s are getting good reviews after being out for well over a year that they are lasting fine and ninja sends replacement parts out very quickly if it’s necessary. Since the 701 came out more recently that’s a little harder to tell. I know a lot of people here love it so far though.
This could be a good idea. I forgot about that machine. The drip coffee it makes tastes similar to French press style though. Which could be amazing or awful depending on their taste.
Fair game on the Maxims machine. The Ninja that someone else recommended does come with that portafilter basket, has a built in grinder, and comes in within the budget.
Gee, I like my $450 Ninja from Costco which I can also take back anytime. Not a super automatic but takes about 15 seconds to tamp and install the portafilter. Great frother.
