Outin - Mino Portable Electric Espresso Machine

I agree with your statement that they all look the same. I have an Outin Nano with the Basket Plus (so I can do 18g) and love it. I also have the Outin Mino, but there’s no option for 18g basket on it. I would honestly base it on warranty and ease of getting one. I can only speak for Outin since that’s what I use, but their warranty is top notch. Anyone I have heard have any issues has always been taken care of by Outin. I personally think all of them are going to heat the same number of brews. There’s only so much space inside for batteries. And since they all are the same size, likely same batteries.

I have tested multiples, including Picopresso, some now names, and prior mainstay, the OutIn Nano. I have had the latest variant of the OutIn called the Mino for over a week and it’s by far the best in its category to me now. Improves on the nano in every way. I was asked by a couple people in that sub to do a deep dive on it and post my thoughts, so you I’ll skip the exhaustive details. You can find it in my post history. (I posted a video of the first shot as well!) I didn’t even have the grind dialed, wasn’t weighing output etc and the shot had great crema, balanced juicy acidity, and awesome sweetness. The main take away for me was the shot quality and how the 22bar headroom along with their smart chips does provide an amazing shot even if your grind etc is not fully dialed. This was not really the case with the nano.

That I personally like? Portable is the Outin, home is the Oracle Jet.
