r/espressoBuying my gf an espresso machine I know nothing about coffee [$300]

We bought this one earlier this year for $300 delivered (it was $400 but Costco was regularly running sales). Price went up with the tarrifs, not due of they're still running sales. We primarily use it for daily coffee. Occasionally make an espresso or add a shot to coffee. We don't do more involved drinks but really enjoy the quality of the coffee or makes. YMMV 🤔 https://www.costco.com/p/-/philips-800-series-fully-automatic-espresso-machine-with-milk-frother/4000161076?catalogId=10701&langId=-1&partNumber=4000161076&storeId=10301&krypto=hn%2FyRqujhVvnVWzEJOvKOUD1l5EcSiyBHlU0vRDEnF5SRVn%2Bsb3Xhnz7bqwNAXcDC2eXJ6y0AgBTRtogZzu06UlD2ndehytgt98EN0RqdQBFgOQAa3quagfTKei7H21VVV011QdmAxojNbmXTmszHJmp0Kq6Fetoussg2l7v7Q8BE59mCpCz76fGi1nERInrZjODBJ3YRLH4dAZXJYE%2F7Ow%2By9obgS%2BD%2Fxw9z4BV%2BsJxTV6%2FsyubCfApjLyOmTNjtcTAVjekklTqQJ7rEKIvItiy3dy7H0Jr9TtcDbj6tbDA1fsZcx2VUJGj4Mr%2BwbegL%2Fi%2FuV6c%2FP4NWaqAB7wWaKzX6bs9eJRDxF0cIVPjsJC1wj2Jxs9K0WmZMv%2FLCaM1&sh=true&nf=true

r/workingmomsThe best quality ESPRESSO MACHINE you've ever tried?

We have a [Phillips Automatic machine from Costco](https://www.costco.com/p/-/philips-800-series-fully-automatic-espresso-machine-with-milk-frother/4000161076?storeId=10301&partNumber=4000161076&catalogId=10701&langId=-1&krypto=hzuY5an%2BikIyjv127XPOouYkfD%2BzL%2Bn5hmtVT3d%2BzmL0iaLZThFMT5dHqEALJV0JqAZdv2oUcPSr6iAAn1biGXlK1JW9QcAbxC8QgHYKCk5QnIrAGlXz84Jzh6kpLyz5) that is really good. But I just looked at the Costco to see if they still have it and they have an [event better one for about the same price](https://www.costco.com/p/-/philips-3200-series-full-auto-espresso-machine-with-lattego-milk-frother/4000286499?storeId=10301&partNumber=4000286499&catalogId=10701&langId=-1&krypto=aTS3iJ7eboDl1enqHj2f3Rg39oI3Op3kFCAdohtV8OpgKJFA1j7jStwSgQ%2FmwwzwmXPIj8JCivvGju1UhCTG%2F2yL3%2BYuQTYzha%2FL0togkTuGolTJ2swFLQEkdVMm0GXN). This looks awesome and I wish I had instead of the one I have lol

r/superautomaticNeed to find the BEST economical option for coffee machine

ppl gonna hate on my post but I love my Phillips superautomatic machine. I have the Costco cheapo model and it serves me well. Imo, better coffee than my Brera and other sub 1000 models i have owned. But all i drink is straight up expresso and don't really bother with the milk stuff. Phillips machines are below your budget level.

Mine does have the steam wand but i never use it... Some fancier Phillips models do have better milk features and are still within your budget. I just don't like all the mess. When i do milk, i will nuke it and just use a simple milk frother (see Bonsenkitchen Powerful Milk Frother on amazon)...easier cleanup. I am not a Phillips ambassador. Just happy with the quality and value.

r/AskUKCoffee lovers - what is the best simple bean to cup coffee machine?

As others have said, Bean to Cup machine pretty much always come with a milk frother of somesort too, as it doesn't cost that much to add but makes the machines significantly more appealing. I have a Phillips which I've found is very good, although only had it 6 months so can't comment on longevity. Its got lots of settings for grind fineness and some for how long the shots are etc, and does Americano with a decent sized water tank too. It has a separate latte part where you store the milk which is detachable so if you never make milk based drinks you can just leave it off tbh.

r/CostcoCostco Luxe Cafe Premier - $499 plus $120 Costco Card - worth getting?

That is good to know. I keep running into strong recommendations for the gaggia.  We just bought and returned the Phillips super auto that Costco sells. Wouldn't make a puck. Preinfusion constantly pushed water through.

r/AeroPressAnyone gone from AeroPress to Espresso Machine back to AeroPress?

I have a Philips saeco superautomatic and use it for espresso based lattes and cappuccinos. Got introduced to an aeropress. They’re very different. Aeropress has replaced dripped coffee in every form but doesn’t have the concentration to replace espresso or espresso like drinks.
