I went from Philips 2300 to Delonghi magnifica evo next and the milk frothing is better, the coffee is stronger, many more options for milk drinks. I like cappuccino drinks, this makes them nicely. The pour can be pretty good sized, definitely bigger than the Philips. If you want to make a huge drink just push the button again and it makes it again. I am super happy with the evo next.
I returned mine after 45 days of trying. No good ever came from it. So happy I returned and bought the delonghi. It was amazing, literally out of the box.
You can because its defective. Makes weak coffee. Lol.
No. Get a better one for a little more like DeLongi or Saeco or Phillips
Model matters. I’m recommending a super automatic.
Completely different set up. The Jura is a super automatic: press one button and it’s makes you a tasty coffee (that the vast majority of people will be very happy with, myself included). The breville is a semi automatic that happens to have a built in grinder. You grind into a portafilter, level, tamp, insert the portafilter and then brew your coffee. Also probably very tasty for most people but with added variables. Both types require maintenance. VERY important maintenance. I had a super automatic (Saeco) for about 15 years until the control unit died and it was discontinued. Very tasty coffee. But I wanted less maintenance (almost none) and don’t ever drink milk based drinks so I was paying for features that I’d never use. So I got a level machine (flair 58), a nice grinder for less than (niche zero) and a nice kettle (fellow ekg pro) for less than what it would’ve cost to replace my super automatic. I control the grind size, the water temperature and the pressure to make my espresso. Morning coffees are now “more work” but I personally enjoy the ritual while recognizing it isn’t for everyone.
Phillips latte go are pieces of garbage and there customer service is terrible! First 3 months leaking water twice sent in for warranty service weak espresso shots. I finally returned it and got an Italian semi auto machine. Lelit Kate I love it
I have a Phillips LatteGo and I love it. Cleaning milk is a thing of the past. No milk tubes.
I have a Phillips LatteGo, and I love it. It's def not like pulling your own espresso, but still a cup or coffee, espresso or milk drinks. And no milk tubes to clean.
Short answer: Quality. Long answer: You need to try it out yourself. I went to my local Williams Sonoma and tried out the Philips Lattego, Delonghi Dinamica plus and Jura Z10. And also the Breville impress touch semiauto. I was pretty sure I would get the Delonghi. But after we tried the Jura, it really was no match. The Breville Semiauto and Jura Z10 were the same quality, others just tasted vastly inferior. So I’d recommend calling a local williams Sonoma, asking if they do demos and if they have the 3-4 machines you’re interested in trying and try them out.
