Check out the WACACO Nanopresso machine. It’s an espresso press that makes espresso by pumping up the pressure manually (not electronically powered). It’s $63 on Amazon but $20 used on eBay. I used one for years and it made good espresso. I used it until my wife gifted me an espresso machine. You have to have a separate grinder.

Sorry, I have the nanopresso and the GR2. I was about to recommend the GR2 over the nano but since you are looking at the pico I don't have any experience with it. Check out the outin Nano as well, with the basket upgrade it's fun to use it.

Not to confuse you more but have you looked at Wacaco's offerings? To get two shots you would need an add on kit. Con is it takes a little bit to dial it in. I rotate using the Nanopresso depending on my mood. Small foot print.

From personal experience the Areopress is way easier to use. It is more forgiving. However the Nanopresso and Minipresso brew authentic espresso. Nanopresso with the Barista kit (which is another purchase) allows you to do double shots. Minipresso is the uninsulated version which leads to a slightly weaker shot. I have no experience with the new G2 Minipresso. Which are the three devices in your range If you exclusively want to deal in espresso though I recommend Nanopresso/Minipresso. It brews under pressure. That said it takes a little bit of playing around to get it right. Even down to the pressure packing in the espresso grounds. It depends how you rank "easy to use". Which is entirely fair in the morning. I also have a Nespresso machine for that exact reason Edited: shit was used when I meant shot

You could go with something like a Nanopresso or a flair, a frother pitcher thing, and spend the rest in a good grinder. Also a v60 for good filtered.
