Agreed  In my opinion, the B5 is head and shoulders improving over the C2

I've used the Behringer B-5 (fairly similar) on a boom pole. I think it's a good sounding mic when it goes into a good recorder or interface. Used mine with the Zoom F3. It's sensitive to handling noise for sure, so a good shock mount is needed. I've used it with a Rycote INV-6. There are windscreens you could put on it for outdoor use but all the costs start to add up. If you're shooting with a lower end mirrorless camera or a phone, to keep budget reasonable I'd probably recommend a mic designed for camera-top use from Deity or Rode that has a 3.5mm output you can bring to the camera via an extension cable, and position the mic on a boom pole (budget ones are OK for a lightweight mic) near the actor. A good recorder, XLR super-cardioid or shotgun mic, cables, shock mount, etc. are probably going to run $700+.

I have this Behringer B-5 with an omni cap that has sometimes blown my mind on certain acoustic guitars/players. Found it in someone’s trash.
