I use my phone camera (s22 ultra) which is actually a pretty good camera. I use it over a regular phone because 1) I already have it 2) I do a lot of quick recordings in public areas and don't want to make it obvious I am recording. When I am doing narration shots at home, I use my phone as a camera and my laptop with my Yeti Nano for audio and sync them up in post.
I use the truthear reds IEMs for Valorant and a Yeti Nano mic. I’m sure you can get a cheaper mic if needed but the IEMs are great for their price imo. Other commenters are right, you’ll get better advice from a different subreddit as your question has little to do with Valorant.
Gostei bastante dele e do software
Love my Yeti Blue Nano, and for Cams, I like my Logitech c920.
Brother, you’re comparing a $100 USB mic to a $300 XLR mic. The Rode is better, if you need a straight answer, but honestly, the Blue Yeti will still do a solid job. Also, I’m not sure where you are as a streamer. If you’re just starting out, don’t overspend. A lot of people drop a ton of money on gear before their stream earns anything, then end up selling it all a few months later. Start with what you have and upgrade only when it makes sense. Just my two cents from someone who streamed for five years as their main source of income.
Blue yeti nano. I have this mic and I am slightly biased. but a great mic. find it on sale and itll be easily sub $100
Your Blue Yeti Nano microphone is decent. The problem is that when the mic stands on the desk, it picks up every vibration. To minimize this, place a soft cloth underneath it - this may help somewhat. The best solution would be a boom arm with a shock mount. Then adjust your settings: the gain shouldn't be too high, as it will pick up too much background noise. You can also experiment with noise gate and sound suppression features. I would avoid XLR microphones as they are more complicated than practical, and quality-wise, nowadays any decent USB microphone can produce good sound.
I currently use a blue yeti nano. The mic used to be pretty good (6/10) but I think I may have damaged it or dropped it on its side and now it's not very good (4.5/10) Because of this I've been looking into a new mic. I'm pretty broke so I won't be buying the mic I actually want, the Shure SM7dB (8/10)... But through my research and listening to video of people testing mics... I'm personally going to buy one of these two Fifine mics. The model I think I want more is the k688 (USB 7.5/10, XLR 8/10). If that's not available I'm going to go for the AM8 (USB 7.5/10, XLR 7.8/10). I'm pretty sure the fifine mics are both under $150... Good luck in your search!
I use the Logitech Blue Yeti and love it. It's not the nicest mic on the market tho (audio-quality wise) after this mic I want to upgrade to the Shure SM7B. I also use speakers because headphones start to hurt my head after a while :) Do you have noise suppression and noise gate filters turned on (if you're streaming w OBS)? That should remove a lot of your speaker noise
I use a Blue Yeti mic with an adapter into my phone and it works very well. I use Soundcorset as the recording app. This is about ~$100 USD setup. The small Tascam recorders are smaller and more portable, but IMO have similar sound quality to the Blue Yeti + phone.
