Zoom H1 is great. You may want a DJI lapel mic with the Rx receiver for best voice qulity/.
r/Standup • Is there an external mic that’s good for filming with an iPhone? Or what other equipment should I be looking at? ->I saw your content on the channel! I noticed there's some room echo in the audio – a common thing with iPhone mics as they pick up everything Your external mics will focus on your voice and reject that echo. The difference is "amateur" vs. "pro." Quick test: Record 30 seconds with your iPhone, then with your DJI lav. Listen on headphones. The lack of reverb and noise will be obvious. P.S. Want to hear your lav's full potential? DM me the file. I'll clean it for free so you can hear the real difference.
r/NewTubers • Am I Shooting Myself in the Foot By Not Using My External Mics? ->Yeah, I was using my phone mic when I first started. One video you could hear the Ice Cream truck driving by with its music playing. Switched to DJI and no more background noise. It's an investment into the channel if you're more serious about making videos vs uploading them for fun to show your friends.
r/NewTubers • Am I Shooting Myself in the Foot By Not Using My External Mics? ->I know that pedal show does a good job with shotguns. I think they use a zoom recorder. I am pretty sure they have an episode where they go over their gear but I would reach out to them about their set up. I have had good luck with Mic answering questions. Personally I would want lavs I really like the DJI wireless with a separate Lav head. They have internal recorders if the audio cuts out so you can edit it back in post if you need to.
r/videography • Best way to record audio for a group? ->Check out those DJI lavs I really like them.
r/videography • Best way to record audio for a group? ->Yes there are receivers that you connect to your camera and will receive the audio from the microphone, check for example the DJI mic, it has a receiver that you can connect to your camera so that the video you are recording gets the audio from the microphone and you don't have to sync anything
r/VideoEditing • how does external microphones record audio to video? ->Hauptsache irgendein Blödsinn schreiben was? Hast du Eins kannst du mitreden? Es ist jetzt schon besser als das DJI Mic.
r/Insta360 • Why is no one talking about the Insta360 wireless mic air?! ->The Dji mics are literally the ones to get if you are using the pocket….they easily sync and have the high quality audio without the receiver necessary.
r/osmopocket • Podcast with Pocket 3 ->I used to have the Rode Wireless Mic Go 2 and switched to the DJI Mics and then the DJI Mic 2 because they were much more user-friendly. What bothered me most was that with the Rode Wireless Mic Go 2 you needed the PC program or a phone app to change settings and to transfer or convert audio files to the PC, whereas with DJI you get ready-to-use files and can make all the settings on the receiver. I don't know if they improved that point on the Wireless pro. I didn't notice any major difference in the audio quality straight away, but I only use the devices every now and then. I mainly used the devices when I was at events in my village or community, taking photos or videos for clubs, or occasionally recording church services. There I also often used the Sony UX570 voice recorder and connected it to their mixer or microphones if available, and often used the audio track and the DJI Mics as an alternative. I personally don't currently plan on switching to the DJI Mics 3. While I find it interesting that you can use up to four microphones, it's a bit silly for me because I also like to connect lavalier or directional microphones and use a 3.5mm jack input. When I've used the DJI Mics, I usually record the audio into the microphones and then synchronize it with DaVinci Resolve afterward, just to have a bit more flexibility in the sound quality, especially when using musical instruments that push the volume to the limit. I don't do this professionally, but more as a hobby. I use a DJI Pocket 2, Pocket 3, Sony A6500, and occasionally a DJI Action 5, and I usually just film from multiple angles and then edit them together afterwards.
r/videography • Dji mic 3 or rode wireless pro ->i would either try something like a Zoom h2n/h3n on the table or would go for a dji mic/mic mini per person and then record in the device and sync in post.
r/videography • Best way to record audio for a group? ->You could get 3 DJI mics, pair two to the camera and the third mic to like an iPhone/Android, record your podcast on both the camera and iPhone/Droid, then combine the audio in post production.
r/osmopocket • Podcast with Pocket 3 ->Blue Yeti when I'm seated indoors, for portable / wireless lav /outdoor, Rode Wireless. DJI mic is also an excellent choice
r/PartneredYoutube • What Microphone is everyone using ? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
