If you are getting the Creator combo, then get another standalone Mic 2. If not, I'd recommend the Mic Mini as the size really makes a difference. Souce: I have both Mic 2 and Mic Mini

i have the osmo pocket 3 creator combo. before i purchased this, i had the dji mic mini. so now both my partner and I film on the osmo and use one of the dji mini mics. i do see a difference in quality when it comes to Mic 2 vs Mic Mini but it’s not much. Def doable

10 batteries! I love it! To answer your question I can post a video with a Bluetooth mic AND an internally recorded mic , sync’s in post. [is this video. this is a GoPro 13 Bluetooth to DJI mic2 inside my helmet.](https://youtu.be/OqJ10oRwViA?feature=shared) [in this video this is GoPro 13 with DJI mic 2 internally 32bit recording](https://youtu.be/jTOD1LIsSq8?feature=shared) You may really only need a mic if you want to narrate while you’re running or jogging, but FIRST I do have a FREE tip for you before you buy the mic. On your GoPro 13 it includes a new audio mode called “voice profile” , try changing it to voice profile in the audio settings and go for a jog. See how it sounds. If you’re not happy add a DJI mic2 or rode, sure. I like the DJI because I can use it with all my cameras, insta 360, DJI action 5, and GoPro 13. The microphones aren’t waterproof, BUT I’ve never had an issue with sweat or even light rain inside my helmet.

I use the GoPro 13 with dji mic2 direct. No media mod or receiver. Works well. Here’s a comparison I did I have the mic2 and the mic mini, riding on a moped. [dji mic2 GoPro 13 mic mini comparison](https://youtu.be/QY3HmvyuPQ8?feature=shared)

I used to have the Rode Wireless Mic Go 2 and switched to the DJI Mics and then the DJI Mic 2 because they were much more user-friendly. What bothered me most was that with the Rode Wireless Mic Go 2 you needed the PC program or a phone app to change settings and to transfer or convert audio files to the PC, whereas with DJI you get ready-to-use files and can make all the settings on the receiver. I don't know if they improved that point on the Wireless pro. I didn't notice any major difference in the audio quality straight away, but I only use the devices every now and then. I mainly used the devices when I was at events in my village or community, taking photos or videos for clubs, or occasionally recording church services. There I also often used the Sony UX570 voice recorder and connected it to their mixer or microphones if available, and often used the audio track and the DJI Mics as an alternative. I personally don't currently plan on switching to the DJI Mics 3. While I find it interesting that you can use up to four microphones, it's a bit silly for me because I also like to connect lavalier or directional microphones and use a 3.5mm jack input. When I've used the DJI Mics, I usually record the audio into the microphones and then synchronize it with DaVinci Resolve afterward, just to have a bit more flexibility in the sound quality, especially when using musical instruments that push the volume to the limit. I don't do this professionally, but more as a hobby. I use a DJI Pocket 2, Pocket 3, Sony A6500, and occasionally a DJI Action 5, and I usually just film from multiple angles and then edit them together afterwards.

i would either try something like a Zoom h2n/h3n on the table or would go for a dji mic/mic mini per person and then record in the device and sync in post.

I have the DJI Mic 2, which has internal 32 bit float and the quality is superb. I haven't a lot to compare it to but it's tiny and easy to operate

I agree. I think this is more geared toward run and gun content creators and less so film/video professionals. I love my Mic 2 and I use it a ton but it's almost always with a lav mic. I could never just clip it onto a shirt for any paid jobs. It just looks so unprofessional and it's distracting. Who really knows? Afterall DJI arent the first company to come out with a product that makes people think but why?

agree I personally prefer the DJI mic 2 for the vibration, and bigger button when I use as a remote with the options of a lav mic and internal recording, each have their ups and downs either one you like get the dji mic money well spent

The dji mic 2 can work wirelessly with newer Sony cameras if you have the dji mic 2 receiver and Sony adapter that released recently. There is no better option for a wireless solution

I feel you! The boyfriend just bought me a mic 2 yesterday as an early bday gift.. But, since we're still within the 30 day window, when the 3 becomes available, we'll upgrade.

It all depends on your phone, if it's a modern android or iphone, then any usb microphone can work IF you connect the mic to a powered hub first, then connect the hub to the phone. A blue snowball would be my recommendation if you can find the right hub, super cheap, sounds great, leagues up from your current mic and leaves you room in the budget. If you're down to try the creative approach of playing the beat on your phone through headphones, recording your voice on a different mic, and importing that audio - then get a Zoom H1, they sound amazing, super adjustable audio sensitivity, and you can use them to record basically anything at super high quality with just two AAA's. The mic records to an SD card, and I've plugged an SD card into my phone with the usbc charging port which worked perfectly on a Pixel and was nearly instant to copy a recording to a project - your mileage may vary ofc If you want a wireless one, you're gonna have bad audio unless you break the budget, **avoid** bluetooth especially. THE EXCEPTION to this is the DJI mic lineup - the Mic 2 is amazing, the Mic Mini is a dual channel that can connect to any phone with usbc, and they use proprietary stuff to make it clean
