Fifine T669 + VST 2.x Plugin for OBS
I am using FIFINE T669 for 69eur and it´s really amazing fort his price. You can tweak it easily with OBS plugin. BUT I just found Maono PD400x for 60eur as well. Normal price is 140 in my country. Currently in delivery, let´s see the difference.
Checkout Podcastage on youtube, his reviews are very in depth! As for anecdotes, I have a Fifine T669 which I've been using since I bought it around 2022, I don't think that model is good now but just a testament that the brand does make a long lasting product
Great mic. FIFINE Studio Condenser USB MIC with Boom Arm - [https://amzn.to/3QQJ2nw](https://amzn.to/3QQJ2nw)
I got a fifine on a boom for like $80 and I've had more than one recording task.
I was using a Fifine mic recently as well, but mine was a condenser, so it picked up even more noise than I am sure their dynamic microphones do. I just got the Rode Podmic USB and I love it. $200, so not super expensive all things considered, and it’s built like a tank. The only negatives I can think of is it doesn’t come with a stand, so you’ll need a boom arm for it, and there are no onboard controls, so you’ll have to use the Rode app to make adjustments to gain and whatnot. These don’t bother, me, but I can see them being issues for some people.
Great post! Seriously, audio really is vital. I highly recommend spending $50-100 on a USB condenser mic (Fefine, Yeti). Inexpensive gaming headsets or laptop mics that cause clipping or plosive pops can be really distracting and instantly limit how much time someone is willing to spend watching your content. If you are trying to get into actual podcasting, where audio is the primary focus, you'll need to start spending more on a Shure SM7B or equivalent, but you will not need anything super serious for YouTube content.
I genuinely don’t need this and my FFINE condenser microphone I bought for $20 back in 2018 is perfectly fine…… but I want my microphone to not pick up people talking downstairs so I’m buying this.
