I prefer the lewitt DTP 340 for Tom's over my Sennheiser md421. Easier to mount as well.

I have a few Lewitt’s as well. None of the high end ones. But they are pretty great too. Their dynamic cardioid is a great alternative to the SM57. Really nice in guitar cabs.
