BonoBeats 1.0Line Audio CM4 (open cardioid) and OM1 (Omni).
Interesting-Salt1291 1.0You mentioned the MKH8020s (I use those now; they're awesome and totally worth it), but the much more affordable Line Audio OM1s are also very nice omnis. I also have a Rode NT4 for a quick XY Stereo set up, and that's done well whenever I need it. Hope you find something you like!
Flimsy_Giraffe3550 0.1The line audio stuff from sweden is fairly cheap, and they are amazing, both the omni’s and the cardioid condensers aren insanely good. Also had a lot of fun with cheap electret mics (the ones that need a battery to work), they can be really silly but work in some instances. Lastly the german webstore thomann has a line of house brand ribbon mics that go for like 80 bucks and they are really useful!
