Razer seiren v3 mini is very good for starters
It can yeah but Discord is pretty good at removing those and i've never had problems. Its a good mic. The button on the top makes it very easy to mute and un mute very quickly. For $50 its a good mic.
It does, but if you use something like discord then discord will cut those sounds out. Easily worth $50 though.
I used this for a few months after getting my new build. For the most part, it was great. Worked in linux too, which was a big plus for me. The main issue I had with it was that it was bad at detecting when I was whispering. I ended up buying a razer seiren v3 mini. Its small, affordable, comes with a little stand and its great just to talk with friends
I use a Razr Seiren V3 Mini. Was like 30 bucks and I think it sounds good. I did get a set of Hollyland lavalier mics (also about $30), but haven't yet filmed a video where I need them. Will probably be doing that within the next couple of weeks and can report back on their quality then.
adding onto this: THE FIFINE K688 IS AMAZING! i know that was a bit over the top but my GOOOD is the microphone impressive after equalizing it! it’s around 70 bucks, it’s both USB and XLR (so really good upgrade path!!) and it has a mic mute button! plus a shock absorber and also a pop filter attached to it. the microphone build is great and flawless after a few months of use. and once again, the audio quality is genuinely amazing for the price. i have used my fair share of sub 100$ microphones, and this one 100% takes the fattest slice of the cake! if you end up saving up for it, then dm me any time! i’ll b more than happy to help ;) (P.S: the Razer Seiren Mini v3 is also a really good mic for 50 bucks!!!! thags my other recommendation. it will definitely do you well even without EQ, also has a mute button and it has the added benefit of being super portable, love these two mics!!)
If you don’t get an xlr mic just get a seiren mini v3 because all usb mics sound the same and you are wasting your money. Otherwise go with the sm7b or with a fifine k688 (amazing choice for the price)
My little search is suggesting Razer seiren v3 mini gives the best audio with background supression. Akg gives the more crip and clear audio but it is sensitive to sounds. It will pickup everything. Hyperx Solocast is the weakest in terms of sound quality from these three and gives some degree of sound supression not that good. Solocast II is much better in that regard but even then the value for money option is Razer.
Is the mic removable? If so I’d just get the razer v3 mini for $40 on Amazon. Works well for me Otherwise I’d get a new headset cause I wouldn’t want the mic in my face for no reason
I'm a big fan of the Raver V1 and V3 mics as a beginner mic. They sound decent for the price and are simple to use. Just make sure to buy a mic arm and pop filter for it, since the little desk stand is not ideal for VO.
