Videographer here, when doing documentaries Rode is an amazing lav mic system. From the way it does auto leveling, to split channel audio for 2 units. The audio is clean and clear. Plus the price is right!

The Røde Lavalier Go is not a good microphone for ambient sound. If looking at RØDE Lav products only the RødeLink Lav and the Røde Lavalier II are suited for your purposes IMO. I prefer the profile of the RødeLink Lav but the Lavalier II is usually better value as it includes wind protection. I will however recommend the Clippy's (or other Primo EM272 based mics). Get the furs - Bubblebee's are very good if a little pricey - I use the Rycote furs that was sold on Micboosters website when I bought my Clippys - they are fine too. Clip them onto something on either side of your head - it gives good stereo separation. I prefer the straps of my backpack or collar. You can also put them on a hat/cap sunglasses - but if placed ON the head the sound image will be affected every time you turn your head just a little. I turn my body less than my head so body placement is better for me.

I’ve always thought this was a terrible look. I purchased a Lav mic for myself about 2 years ago when I got my RODE Wireless. Great investment and I never look silly on camera

I work regularly in podcasting and YouTube voice-over. I highly recommend against any of the mics you are considering. They will record sound... but in my experience they are low quality and will give you low quality results. Since you are in a mobile situation, I would recommend the Rode Wireless Lapel mics so you can at least sound consistent from episode to episode. These mics sound fine, even in sort of noisy environments. They are more portable and less contingent on your position in the room related to the mic placement. You just strap it to the same spot every time and you will sound consistently the same, regardless of your environment. Hit me up if you'd like to chat details and ways to address room and other noise.

Im a very occasional gimbal user. Rare that I'll use it for a full day. 9 times out of ten I'll be handheld, tripod or monopod. My manfrotto monopod was the best bit of gear I've ever brought. I did just buy RODE wireless pros. Like some elements. I prefer the look of my older RODE lavs to the ones that came with. Idk the ones that come with it seem harder to lock into the tx than my older mics (maybe that was just me) and the mic clip is a bit loose and plasticky.

Rode also make a lavalier that plugs into your phone. Way cheaper than a wireless system and would work well in a car attached to your clothing with a clip.

Rode dyo some pretty good mics, on a budget try and get some used Rode wireless ME mics with two Rode Lav mics. Then I would recommend that with the rest of the budget get a used DJI osmo phone gimbal and a cheap light/s, Neewer do some decent cheap lights on Amazon. Hope this helps.

I started out with a blue yeti and switched to a rode lav later on. I personally prefer the lav, both are around a hundred bucks.

rode with a wired lav attached. I only ever use the built in mic in an emergency (lav broke and forgot to pack extras) or on a stick. The hollyland stuff is good too, and if you want to skip the lav part that’s what I would go with.
