I'm on the same boat... I was rocking balance 1 gen for four years, the best watch I've ever had... But unfortunately, the time has come for a change, so I bought balance 2, and it's such a great successor to the first one... Then I bought a Helio strap, just to be able to switch watches from time to time ( OnePlus watch 3 and TicWatch atlas ), and Helio strap is an awesome device. But, for sleeping I also bought a Helio ring, I know that the battery is not among the best, but still it gives me a great measurement for 4 days, I wear it just for sleep tracking... And what I like the most is the zepp ecosystem, I don't need to use many apps, one rules them all ( of course, I have ohealth for opw 3 and TicWatch for notifications and calls, but all the health measurements are taken from Helio strap I wear on my bicep during the day). I am very happy that I found the Amazfit brand :)

Seconding this. The Bip 6 is fantastic for the price but if you can spend a little more, the Active 2 comes with an altimeter and thermometer for extra metrics. There's also a premium version of the Active 2 which has sapphire glass and an additional strap. Both have the newer sensor found on the Balance 2 and T-Rex 3. You can find them for cheap on Amazon US, since they easily fall under $200 (to avoid customs tax) and above $50 (for free shipping to PH). I personally picked the original Balance instead at $129 (same as the Active 2 Premium) because it's bigger and more accurate.
No Alexa is a major fail, had that on the previous Balance 1.
Trex3 Pro is much to expensive for its features, its only a plastic(!) watch! Balance 2 is to 90% a Balance 1 and very expensive, too! Balance 1 gets no updates anmore, EOL! Amazfit only gives you two years of updates, this is for this prices much too short. I have a Balance and will never buy a Amazfit anymore. My next watch will be a Huawei or something else...
I owned the Amazfit Balance 1 with the BIA sensor for body composition and I was impressed on how on par it was with my two smart scales. A plethora of metrics and analytics. It may lack some of the deep analytics of the Venu 4 but on the other hand the V4 has just introduced metrics that the Balance already had. I switched to the Balance 2 and was considering the V4, but it has a lot of shortcomings for its price. At the end of the day, how many of those metrics and analytics do we really need or even use to effectively track our progress? Now with the B2 you'll be able to get a good deal on the B1 of around €160, which is not too far off your budget. As a weight-lifter, cyclist and seasonal swimmer the B1 and B2 were all I needed.

Guys, I am STRUGGLING. I’ve been a long-time Fitbit user for years but obviously they’ve now been completely nerfed by Google, I would never get another one. I loved Fitbit because it was simple - I just want a basic fitness tracker (ideally by a well-known brand) that does steps, tracks sleep, workouts, readiness/recovery insights, hourly activity/stand reminders. One of the biggest things for me is a simple user interface; something I’m not going to get overwhelmed by. Workout-wise, I’m mainly going to be resistance training and some yoga, walking and will build up to running so a good GPS would be nice. I’d prefer something that looks less like a fitness tracker and more like a watch, that’s suitable for smaller wrists (no ridiculous sized screen). I sweat pretty heavily so need a band that will cope with that but I know you can get interchangeable ones. I’d prefer something with good battery life. I’ve since tried the Amazfit balance, which I was completely overwhelmed by, with the sheer amount of data I just don’t need. I know I could just not look at it but I still find it so overwhelming. I then tried the Huawei GT 5 and the app is so ugly. There’s ads and I just want to be able to look at the bare minimum I need to get the information I want. I’ve considered an Apple Watch (I’m an iPhone user) but the battery life is terrible and it’s more like having a phone on your wrist - just want something simple for wellness/fitness, not a smartwatch (sorry, I know this is a smart watch Reddit lol) I know I’m being very picky here, but since Fitbit went down the drain there seems to be a huge gap in the market for a simple fitness tracker, unless I’m missing something! TIA :)
