I love my Amazfit bio pro 3. It does everything I need it to do.
r/Frugal • Has anybody here bought a cheap smart watch before? ->I'm excited to try one for the first time. My amazefit bip3 pro was good until I put it in my pocket and it broke where the straps attach. I started using my wife's Garmin (she didn't like it) and I hate the UI for it. Other than that it's great. I'm hoping the UI is better on the pebble. The battery life sounds amazing too.
r/gadgets • The Google Pixel Watch 4 is the Android watch to beat ->If you're on a budget, the Amazfit Bip 3 is a solid pick cheap, waterproof, and decent tracking.
r/Swimming • Budget Swimming smartwatches ->The GPS on this watch seems to be off compared to my Garmin Fenix 8 and Garmin Forerunner 955. I've had multiple people wear it who have came to the same conclusion as well. Not a huge huge deal if your just running to run but the amazfit 3 is about .08 miles short on every mile compared to both my garmins and compared to 3 other people's Garmin Forerunner 965's. That's almost a half a mile on a 5 mile run. This is running in multiple areas as well. Also for reference it's about .04 miles shorter on a run compared to my Google Pixel watch which is pretty comparable in price. Other than it registering the miles short, the V02 and the HR monitor seems to be pretty accurate when I run at slower paced but I did find when it got below 30° out that he Amazfits HR would spike and say my HR was at 195 when I know for a fact it was way lower based on my Polar HR monitor I was wearing which had my HR at around 148. I'm assuming it was picking up cadence rather than HR. The only way I could get it to go down was stop and wait for 5 minutes but it would do it multiple times during my run. I like the idea of the amazfit and the price point but if you want accurate real data and you rely on this type of stuff for training, stick to a newer Garmin watch.
r/amazfit • T-rex 3 Review ->Kinda regretting getting the round early. I'm used to the square Bip and this feels sexy.
r/amazfit • Amazfit Active 2 Square Review: Fitness Squared ->Bip s. I literally bought a backup unit because it's so cheap and so good
r/Android • Your Pixel Watch's battery could last longer with this Wear OS 6 feature [Adaptive charging] ->Could be fake reviews. Amazfit (by Xiaomi) are legit and very cheap as well.
r/smartwatch • What's up with the $30-$50 smart watches on Amazon? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
