Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works
For what you need don't bother with an Android smartwatch, waste of money. I've recently bought an Amazfit Cheetah Round and I can honestly say it's brilliant. GPS built in for mapping and street directions when walking which is staggering for the money, plus all of the notifications I got on my Android watch.
I also do a lot of rowing. I just bought the Amazfit Cheetah Pro. So rowing doesnt really work good with the Amazfit? I was hoping so because my Garmin FR 165 didnt have Rowing and Sit ups etc.
Hey, first yesterday and today i got in to rowing with my new Amazfit Cheetah Pro. I really like the watch and it DOES have stroke count, also is it counting SPM. The SPM is not that accurate but it does the job pretty good. Just wanted to let you know. Also the battery life is a little disappointing to me, 1 day of running 10km and 2 days of fitness and rowing with no GPS use and my battery is already 17% from fully charged.
I have an Amazfit Cheetah (Round), not the pro. Its insanely good for the price and has even better battery life than promised. Been using it for 1.5 years now, and the battery is now degraded to the level originally promised by the description (14days with regular training). I've run a lot with this lovely thing, did a trail half marathon and many casual runs cycles and hikes. The only issue is that you will not get power data in watts from it for cycling and only estimates for running. So if that's something important for you, go looking for one that has it. Otherwise it's the literal best thing ever...I've bashed it against things so many times, it has no business still being in one piece. Do keep in mind however, that some sportsapps dont integrate that well with the ZeppOS system
Amazfit Cheetah 🐆 is the best
“‘Best’ is kind of impossible without knowing your budget and what you care about most, but here’s the short version for 2025: * **If you mainly want fitness + crazy battery** → look at **Garmin** (Forerunner / Venu / Fénix / Epix depending on your budget and if you want AMOLED or not). Great GPS, stats, and works well with both Android & iOS, but smart features are more basic. * **If you want a “do everything” smartwatch and you’re OK with daily charging** → * On **iOS**: Apple Watch (if your iPhone is recent enough, that’s still the most seamless option). * On **Android**: **Galaxy Watch** or **Pixel Watch** families for the best apps + integration. * **If you want something cheaper but solid for fitness** → Amazfit (T-Rex, Cheetah, etc.) gives good GPS + long battery for the price, with decent app support. Since you have both Android and iOS, I’d start by asking: * Do you care more about **fitness metrics + battery** or **apps + smart features**? * Max budget? Answer that and people here can give you 2–3 very precise models instead of generic “get an Apple Watch” replies.”
I use an Amazefit Cheetah i bought for $100, because it stores music. Now I track walks. It is perfect!
Amazfit cheetah round na lang if ganyang price din konting dagdag na lang.
I have a ticket open with Amazfit for elevation issues across the brand (I have the T-Rex 3 and the Cheetah (Round)). While I am pleased with the GPS accuracy and the heart rate monitoring during activities, the heart rate at rest spikes frequently and needs to be calibrated to bring it back down. The altimiter does a poor job of tracking stairs (I climb over 20 flights a day on average) and bike rides come in hundreds of feet lower than Garmin or my Magene cycling computer, both of which are almost identical for tracking. I rarely have to calibrate my Fenix 7X Pro Solar Saph, but the Amazfit watches drain elevation on the regular and require daily calibration. This shouldn't be. In general, my conclusions are the same aside from these two things and while I'd love to leave Garmin, until these issues are fixed, I can't.
