I'm a big fan of Xiaomi products and their sister products. Redmi, Yi, Amazfit. I'm wearing the amazfit gtr3 watch. I find it excellent, but not much of a work out type, it counts steps, monitors spo2 and heart rate / sleep. I like it a lot. It's not a medical device I know, but I'd see it as an indicator. Also have the Helio ring, the zepp app on android aggregated the results of the measurements, supposedly giving more accurate results. Get over a week with the watch after about an hour's charge, circa 3 days on the ring.
r/CasualIreland • Smart/fitness Watch ->I researched a lot about it and I bought an Amazfit GTR 3 pro 3 years ago. Still works perfectly. Sometimes I look at my watch and count HR using two fingers on my neck and it's pretty precise in water. The screen is really bright inside water and easy to see. It works well with other activities like running too. The only problem I've encountered is that it works really bad if you do too much drills or kicking during practice. Sometimes I like to practice some drills that drops my pace/stroke ratio and sometimes the watch gets confused with the metrics/distance.
r/Swimming • Watch recommendations? ->Hey! It sounds like you're looking for a reliable alternative to Fitbit, especially for heart rate tracking, step counting, and heart rate variability (HRV). Here are a few great options for you: 1. **Garmin Venu 2/2S** – Garmin offers excellent heart rate and HRV tracking, reliable sleep tracking, and a user-friendly app that syncs well with Android. It has a robust design, long battery life, and is highly rated for fitness tracking. 2. **Amazfit GTR 3 Pro** – This watch is a solid alternative with accurate step tracking, heart rate monitoring, and HRV. The app (Zepp) is much more stable than Fitbit's, and it provides a great overall experience for Android users. It also comes with long battery life and great build quality. 3. **Whoop Strap 4.0** – If you're more focused on HRV and recovery, Whoop is a great choice. The device focuses on fitness and recovery metrics, and the app provides a lot of insights. However, it does require a membership, so it's a different model than the others. 4. **BP DOCTOR Pro 17** – If you're also looking to monitor your blood pressure along with heart rate and HRV, the **BP DOCTOR Pro 17** smartwatch is an excellent option. It combines heart rate, BP, and HRV tracking, and its app is reliable and easy to use for Android users. This watch is great for those who want extra health monitoring features. If you're not looking for a subscription service like Whoop, I'd recommend **Garmin** or **Amazfit**, but the **BP DOCTOR Pro 17** is definitely worth considering if you're interested in more comprehensive health tracking.
r/smartwatch • Fitbit alternatives ->I have the gtr 3 pro that I got as a certified renewed and it was under 100 and honestly has been great. Some stuff is iffy on like sleep quality but idk if there are any watches that really do a good job on that. 10/10 would recommend!
r/amazfit • Looking for a reliable under-$100 fitness watch ->Same thing they offer, but the bluetooth version is updated. And new design, with rotating button.
r/Dhaka • Fitness tracking smart watch/band suggestions ->The GPS on this watch seems to be off compared to my Garmin Fenix 8 and Garmin Forerunner 955. I've had multiple people wear it who have came to the same conclusion as well. Not a huge huge deal if your just running to run but the amazfit 3 is about .08 miles short on every mile compared to both my garmins and compared to 3 other people's Garmin Forerunner 965's. That's almost a half a mile on a 5 mile run. This is running in multiple areas as well. Also for reference it's about .04 miles shorter on a run compared to my Google Pixel watch which is pretty comparable in price. Other than it registering the miles short, the V02 and the HR monitor seems to be pretty accurate when I run at slower paced but I did find when it got below 30° out that he Amazfits HR would spike and say my HR was at 195 when I know for a fact it was way lower based on my Polar HR monitor I was wearing which had my HR at around 148. I'm assuming it was picking up cadence rather than HR. The only way I could get it to go down was stop and wait for 5 minutes but it would do it multiple times during my run. I like the idea of the amazfit and the price point but if you want accurate real data and you rely on this type of stuff for training, stick to a newer Garmin watch.
r/amazfit • T-rex 3 Review ->Could be fake reviews. Amazfit (by Xiaomi) are legit and very cheap as well.
r/smartwatch • What's up with the $30-$50 smart watches on Amazon? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
