"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."
"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"

"I love my Coros as a navigation tool. My phone very rarely comes out for navigation now. ... Using a watch for the majority of your navigation uses way less power than using a phone."
"It has LIDAR ... it will map your house and create a plan that should cover your whole area"
"excellent, mapping"

"i just hate how thick they made the apex 4"
"Too hard and it feels like a spring ready to bounce you off if you roll over"
"it's also the thickest which I don't really like."

"I used to find that wrist HR sucked for rowing"
"the hr reading is incorrect. ... 20 dollars band from Samsung does a better job"
"The discrepancy is much higher for HR than running dynamics. ... I think it is straight up irresponsible to rely on wrist-based HR is you’re using HR as a part of training"

"It also gets confused on sculling and some drills."
"it does not record drills correctly so I do not use it for that."

"For me the recovery/body battery/race predictor/fitness stats were garbage even when I was only running. ... (Mine said I could run a 2:26 marathon for a while as a 38 year old woman of fairly average club pace)."

Garmin and Coros are the top of the industry for heart rate and fitness watches. Frankly Apple Watches aren’t even comparable. That being said there has been some research that shows heart rate wrist monitors on these watches aren’t accurate all the time. The new ones with the latest technology seem to be pretty damn accurate in my experience. If you’re interested in heart rate training I highly suggest a garmin or coros and then pair it with a chest monitor. You can get a chest monitor and pair it to your watch for like $75-150 bucks but like the watch it should last years. Smart watches are not BIFL IMO
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best smart watch to get accurate heart and oxygen rates? ->Fenix 6X Pro. Bought a used one in good condition from FB marketplace a few months ago and super happy I did. Switched from the Coros Apex.
r/trailrunning • what fitness watch you all using? ->I love my Coros as a navigation tool. My phone very rarely comes out for navigation now.
r/Ultralight • So many new watches. Which watch is best for backpacking? ->I've just moved from a Pace 3 to a Nomad and, honestly, they're cracking pieces of kit. I've not had any issues with them since moving to Coros watches in February. For trails I would lean towards at least the Pace Pro or the Nomad/Apex 4 (they're basically the same) simply due to offline maps. Either way, Coros or Garmin, there's a device that meets your needs at a price you are willing to pay.
r/trailrunning • GPS Watch suggestions ->Go Apex. Better battery life, stronger cpu, more fluid maps/ui, better app. Buy 970 only if he prioritizes bright amoled screen. Everything else is on Coros advantage.
r/Coros • Forerunner 970 vs Apex 4 ->Interesting choice with the Apex 4, I think the Nomad is a better and cheaper watch 🙂 although I'm a sucker for a ruggedized plastic watch.
r/Coros • Forerunner 970 vs Apex 4 ->I went with the apex.. price and battery!
r/Coros • Forerunner 970 vs Apex 4 ->My Coros watch has amazing battery life. I went on vacation for 10 days and knew I'd be fine not charging it.
r/smartwatch • Best smartwatch with decent battery life ->I have a Coros watch. The batteries last forever.
r/Swimming • How do you record your swims? ->Coros is about half the price for the same features and its not a military contractor…
r/trailrunning • GPS Watch suggestions ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
