I've really been enjoying the Coros Pace 3. Had it for almost a year. The only thing I really track though is my runs. It's really good value for the features it has but also has a super simple interface.
r/whoop • Before you commit to Whoop, here are the current alternatives. ->Used Coros Pace 3 if you're trying to save some $ Can find those for $150 and they are still top tier tracking for biking + running with decent analytics that don't require 24/7 wearing
r/Strava • Best watch/tracker strictly for use during biking and running? ->I use Form Goggles or a Coros pace watch. The Coros track well and can do structured workouts. And having access to my distance, pace, heart rate, and workout time available is really cool
r/Swimming • Swim watches? ->For me I use Training Peaks for collecting all my data. I have a coros pace watch for tracking strength workouts, running, and open water swims. I have a garmin for riding the bike out side. On the bike I have a garmin cadence and speed attachments. And for my peddles I have polar power meters. A Tac X Neo for training on the bike inside. Form goggles for tracking my pool swims. For structuring workouts I use Training peaks for a ATP (year plan). TrainerRoad for bike workouts, Form goggles for swimming workouts. And for the strength and running I enter them into the coros watch app. I’ve gotten the gear over time. If I had to start from scratch I would just use my Coros Pace 3 to track everything and pick up one thing at a time as I got the funds.
r/triathlon • What’s your tracking/device setup for training as a triathlete? ->For me I use Training Peaks for collecting all my data. r/triathlon • What’s your tracking/device setup for training as a triathlete? ->Coros Pace 3 linked to strava .. I love it !
r/Marathon_Training • What do you use to track your runs? ->Second this! Love Coros’ interface so much more compared to Garmin
r/Marathon_Training • What do you use to track your runs? ->I use the Coros pace 3 it’s affordable and tracks a whole bunch of stuff
r/Marathon_Training • What do you use to track your runs? ->I don't know if it can send the data to Oura, but it'll work with Apple Health. I love my Coros Pace 3 watch; crazy amount of battery, about the same price as some of the Garmin watches. It doesn't have all of the features of Garmin (my main issue is the live tracking, for safety), but it works for my needs. I do run with my phone, so having music on the watch doesn't matter to me.
r/ouraring • Fitness watch only for workouts suggestions. Oura for everything else. ->+1 on the coros pace 3. It's much more affordable than entry level Garmins with the same and even more features.
r/Swimming • Wearable devices for swim tracking ->Gps watch has helped me tremendously (just started running last year). Coros is what I went with (pace 3) very easy to use beginner friendly and they seem to listen to community feedback providing updates etc. very pleased with the product.
r/Marathon_Training • Your Opinion on Fitness Tracker ->I think at about $175 new it's still about half the cost of the Garmin 245. You could compare the Pace 3 to the Garmin 965 and I think those are also similarly about half the cost. But realistically the Coros Pace lineup is definitely meant for someone who specifically wants a tracking watch, not a smart watch. Admittedly, that's part of the draw for me, I didn't want anything that was going to add connectivity to my phone in any real way. As a fitness tracker and fitness tracker only, the Pace feels like the best value by a decent amount.
r/Marathon_Training • What do you use to track your runs? ->I tried both Garmin and Polar and found they just utterly fail at tracking swimming - both open water and pool. My club mates are always complaining about their Garmins and Polars, too. I use a Coros Pace 3 and have virtually no complaints. Just my personal opinion.
r/triathlon • What fitness devices do you use? ->What computer do you have? Second to Coros I have the Pace 3 and it's been spectactular
r/triathlon • What fitness devices do you use? ->I don't need maps either so I'll definitely keep this model In mind!!
r/triathlon • What fitness devices do you use? ->I recently got a Coros Pace 3 (at a pretty steep discount, otherwise I might not have gone for it). I specifically wanted something that would do a good job tracking open water swims without a lot of non-sport smartwatch features that would drain the battery (i.e. not an Apple Watch or similar). I like it! It’s pretty accurate for tracking pool swims too, except for kick or drill sets but I had no expectations for that. Edit: it also functions as a normal watch, in that you can see what time it is in all light conditions (the Fitbit model I had previously did NOT do that).
r/Swimming • Recommendations for a watch to track swimming sessions? ->Coros Pace 3. Does more than enough for most runners. Light, long battery and beats the competition for value
r/Ultramarathon • Simple watch - long battery life, pace, and GPS ->I think it is worth it. I have an Apple Watch Ultra, a Garmin forerunner 265, and COROS Pace 3 and have _enjoyed them all_. I prefer the Garmin because I do not view it as a smart watch, which requires extra "management effort (charging, planning notifications and complexity) and I think Garmin as a platform and experience are more mature when compared to COROS. I think all three of those companies have watch features that work great for motivating people to stay healthy and motivated. Hope my perspective helps 👍
r/GarminWatches • Is a garmin watch really worth it? ->If you are a beginner runner you may be better off getting a coros pace 3, it is cheaper and has all of what you need. I started off with an Apple Watch as I got is as a smart watch and then became a runner, for me garmin was the better choice since it has great smart watch capabilities but much better running metrics and battery life than the AW. But it is because having Spotify and Apple/garmin pay were super important for me. If all you want is to run I would go with a coros.
r/GarminWatches • What makes a garmin watch better than others and why should I buy one? ->I agree with PaddyScrag, coros does magic at almost half the price of Garmin
r/Swimming • Wearable devices for swim tracking ->I have been using Coros pace 3 for a year now. I mainly focus on swimming + strength training+ cycling & can confirm it does the job very well. It's quite cheap too compared to Garmin & Apple, plus the battery backup is amazing. I've been using Fitbit before & it sucks in the pool. I've heard Xiaomi bands are pretty good & very cheap but wasn't very impressed.
r/Swimming • Best sportwatch for multisport use? ->Long term battery life on the COROS sucks. Just out of warranty and the battery now lasts 3 days between charging. Coros support told me that is just the way Lithium batteries work. So buy a new one every 2.5 years I guess...
r/Coros • Coros Pace 3 vs Forerunner 165 ->I really like the Pace 3, especially because I picked it up for $185+tax. But it still has features I'll never use because all I do is run. I would have been fine without any other activities besides run and trail run. I also don't use it to analyze my sleep. But these days, it's hard to find running watches without all those extraneous features, so for me, the Pace 3 was the best dolllar-for-dollar watch that had the features that were essential for me: accurate GPS, good-enough HRM, bluetooth music, and excellent battery life. One bonus feature is that it's so thin and light; in fact, it's the only watch I've ever owned that I don't mind wearing all day. The second bonus is that it syncs the data very quickly easily to the phone and to my Strava account. The third bonus is that it picks up the satellite signal very quickly.
r/Coros • Which Watch is Best for Simple Runners ->coros pace 3! sleek, minimal design, and will track all the activities you listed with ample information. and the app is easy to navigate
r/Coros • Best Fitness Watch for me: Garmin or Coros? ->Among FR265 and Pace3, I chose Pace3 and sold the 265.
r/Coros • Coros Pace 3 vs Forerunner 165 ->I didn't compare the GPS result side by side, seems it is pretty accurate so far (with Dual Band GPS on). I mainly use it for tracks and in the city. For forest you can take a look here: [https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2023/11/coros-pace-3-in-depth-review.html](https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2023/11/coros-pace-3-in-depth-review.html) Hope this helps.
r/Coros • Coros Pace 3 vs Forerunner 165 ->Ticks all these boxes yes
r/Coros • Which Watch is Best for Simple Runners ->1000% Coros. Absolutely no need to consider anything else. Nothing competes with it in terms of ratio of battery life and weight, or battery life and price. The Pace 2 or 3 are amazing. Garmin will be worse battery life for more money.
r/trailrunning • Best watch for multi-sport use? ->I hated wearing a garmin all the time because it just felt aesthetically unpleasing. I sold mine and usually use an Apple Watch but I did buy a coros pace 3 for a relatively low price that I wear for long training and long races it my Apple Watch battery won’t last. Not for everyone but turns out I did need a smart watch and a sport watch.
r/IronmanTriathlon • Best Fitness/Bio Tracker? ->Yeh I have the same it’s great for swimming and switching between all three disciplines in one session
r/triathlon • Smartwatch to track swim, cycle and workouts ->I also love my Pace 2. Pace 3 has a touch screen I think which someone said might not be as good if you live somewhere rainy.
r/XXRunning • Smart watch for running AND swimming that won’t break the bank? ->Good to know. From a rainy province here (hello neighbour??) so hearing it isn't very touchy would be good for when I want to upgrade :)
r/XXRunning • Smart watch for running AND swimming that won’t break the bank? ->I love my coros pace 3 - second everyone who said good things about battery life.
r/Marathon_Training • What do you use to track your runs? ->Pace 3 user here. I started with the Pace 2 when they 1st came out and went to the 3 after a bike wreck left the 2 smashed. Overall Coros has been amazing. It does everything I need and tons I don't. I didn't want a smart watch, so it works well.
r/triathlon • Need help picking a fitness watch (running + strength + swim + cycle) ->hey everyone! glad to announce that i’d be getting the pace 3 over the garmin 165. seems to me that the simplicity and the battery life of the pace 3 suits me much better. plus the budget also is a big concern lol. thanks for all the help and take care folks! 🤗
r/Coros • Coros Pace 3 vs Forerunner 165 ->So, either will do fine. However Garmin has just introduced a subscription for some of the features. In my opinion Coros will do the same soon, however at the moment they dont have it. I am very happy with my pace 3. But my brother is also very happy with his Garmin. So I dont think you can do much wrong with either of them.
r/Coros • Best Fitness Watch for me: Garmin or Coros? ->It is also worse in every way than a sport watch would be for... you know... sports. For 200 you can have Coros Pace 3, and that is miles ahead of AW SE.
r/triathlon • Anyone train without a fitness tracker? ->Also, I’m on the Pace 3, not the fancier models. Finished a 100km ultra with 10% remaining on it. Save the money and spend it on the Coros heart rate arm band - it’s amazing and MUCH more accurate than any wristwatch (and works with any watch/device to transmit heart rate via Bluetooth).
r/Coros • What fitness watch? ->Coros, no doubt. I had both and returned the 165 within the day. I also hate the 5-button design of Garmin, the app, and ugly watchfaces.
r/Coros • Coros Pace 3 vs Forerunner 165 ->Coros pace 3! Underrated!!! It’s ridiculously light and battery lasts a week. 12% battery lasted through a 20 mile run with enough charge to last a day.
r/Marathon_Training • What do you use to track your runs? ->Coros Pace 2! I had that watch and swam with it and ran with it, it was great. Just make sure you get a silicone band so it dries immediately after getting out of the water. The bands are interchangeable so you can get whatever you want. It’s not their current model - the Pace 3 is slightly different but more expensive since it just came out this year. I’d say get the 3 if budget isn’t an issue, but having had both they’re basically functionally the exact same.
r/XXRunning • Smart watch for running AND swimming that won’t break the bank? ->I have a Pace 3 and I love it. I mainly use it for weight lifting and jogging. I also use it for text and phone notifications. I like that the app is so smart for tracking your workout progress, sleep, and the battery life lasts weeks. It’s very capable. I’ve had a lot of watches before to compare it to.
r/Coros • What fitness watch? ->Coros is so much better BECAUSE battery life and screen and App are better.
r/Coros • Coros Pace 3 vs Forerunner 165 ->I run everyday and my Coros lasts 10 days
r/Coros • Coros Pace 3 vs Forerunner 165 ->I used to run based on time/distance or other people's GPS watch, so that's an option if you don't really care too much about data. Had a Fitbit Sense (screen broke on it after a year bc the strap would constantly come undone and it fell for my wrist and shattered when it hit the ground. I ran with my phone/Strava app for a while, but didn't like holding my phone while running. I just bought a Coros Pace 3 GPS watch and absolutely love it. If your concern is not wanting to spend a lot of money on a GPS watch, the Coros has been great! Fitbit makes some different fitness trackers...I think the Charge 6 would be the closest to a "fitness bracelet".
r/running • Tracking without fitness watch ->Why do you need that high price point of watch? With garmin, of course you gotta spend more to get more activity tracking, but with coros you don’t need that. Unless you need month-long battery life and full maps instead of breadcrumb nav (which I have had no problems with, even in long trail runs), save some money and get the Pace 3. It’d do everything you need for less than half the cost of the 965.
r/Coros • What fitness watch? ->I went from an AW series 4 last year to the Pace 3 and not looked back The Coros iOS app is class, gives you everything you need and is super clean, just missing options to add a widget if you’re reading guys ;)
r/Coros • Which Watch is Best for Simple Runners ->Don't buy Coros. I had Pace 2 which glass has unglued just a few months after warranty ended and it couldn't be repaired. I bought 3 months ago Pace 3 and now its barometer/altimeter is broken. It shows insane values for the altitute. I live and ran at almost completely flat terrain about 170m above sea level and the watch shows during 5km round run 963m elevation gain and min h. \~1650m and max height \~2450. When I'm at home or just walking it says that the altituded is between -1000 and +500m randomly.
r/XXRunning • Smart watch for running AND swimming that won’t break the bank? ->I went through the research wormhole recently and settled on a Coros Pace 3. I have no regrets. Reliable lap counting, plenty of fitness metrics, great battery life, lightweight, reasonable price, and it looks good.
r/Swimming • Best Smart Watch For Swimming ->My COROS Pace 3 has been very accurate. I can rely on it to track my workouts pretty much 100%. On the rare occasions where it missed one or two laps (over 2-3 km), it was because I did something awkward on the turn while switching to a different stroke.
r/Swimming • Wearable devices for swim tracking ->Coros Pace 3 is working great for me. I didn't wanna get tied into the Garmin ecosystem.
r/Swimming • Which watches would you recommend for tracking swimming? ->I love my Coros pace 3
r/Marathon_Training • What do you use to track your runs? ->Unless you "need" an OLED screen id go with a coros pace 3 (£218) or Garmin Forerunner 955 (£300)
r/UKRunners • Looking to switch from Smartwatch to Fitness watch - Recommendations? ->this is the only correct answer. does everything a forerunner can do and more, for a significantly lower price. i did loads and loads and loads of research (sat on it for months) and the coros pace 3 is the best beginner / budget friendly gps watch on the market, hands down. anyone recommending anything else must have missed OP’s mentions of “beginner” and “not $400”
r/trailrunning • Any smartwatch recommendations for a beginner ? ->coros pace 3 is $229 and does everything that a garmin forerunner can do. it also has navigation for pre-loaded routes
r/trailrunning • Any smartwatch recommendations for a beginner ? ->Pace 3 has been a loyal servant to me for over a year now . Zero faff but enough data there if you want it .
r/Coros • Which Watch is Best for Simple Runners ->Pace 3 will be spot on for what you need.
r/Coros • Best Fitness Watch for me: Garmin or Coros? ->second the pace 3.
r/Coros • Best Fitness Watch for me: Garmin or Coros? ->At least. Had mine over a year and the battery is still great.
r/Coros • Best Fitness Watch for me: Garmin or Coros? ->Love my Coros Pace 3
r/Swimming • What's the best SmartWatch for swimming? ->Coros Pace 3 and Strava, lightest watch I have ever owned and I go so long without charging it I can’t even give you an accurate time line, maybe every 10-14 days? Doesn’t lack anything you need for running, not so many extra stats you overthink things. I have had Garmin, Suunto, and Fitbit watches before and this is hands down my favourite.
r/Marathon_Training • What do you use to track your runs? ->It can track activities if you keep your phone with you. Wouldn’t recommend, I use my whoop for tracking strain and mainly recovery. Check out coros, I got a pace 3 just over 1 month ago and it works very well. I kinda wonder if the pace pro would’ve been a better fit for me because of the better screen but compared to my Apple Watch the pace 3 is a game changer
r/triathlon • Are there any "pure" activity trackers out there? ->Corus pace 3, I use it for all my walking and hiking. Brilliant battery life
r/walking • Smart watch recommendations ->Agreed. The Pace 3 is an excellent watch for a HUGE range of activities. I cycle at least as much as I run, and it's great for both.
r/Coros • What fitness watch? ->Coros pace 2 or 3 might be what you're looking for. You can turn off notifications.
r/triathlon • Are there any "pure" activity trackers out there? ->Yes. This is perfect for what they want. It’s what I have. It doesn’t do music or some of the fancier metrics, but it does pace, distance, etc. well and lasts 30 hours in full GPS mode while being about half the price of the equivalent Garmin.
r/Ultramarathon • Simple watch - long battery life, pace, and GPS ->I got the coros pace 3, really like it
r/triathlon • Smartwatch to track swim, cycle and workouts ->Yes, very nice watch
r/Coros • Which Watch is Best for Simple Runners ->I have a Coros Pace 3 and love it. Coros battery life is much better than Garmin.
r/PeterAttia • Rating of Wearable Devices ->So I’m in the same boat, I’m going with the Coros Pace 3 and a HR strap if I find the HR isn’t accurate. I wear it already cycling, and nothing is super reliable swimming. I’m also considering budget as it’s much cheaper.
r/triathlon • Need help picking a fitness watch (running + strength + swim + cycle) ->The advantage of a COROS is that they are thin and light so you forget about them. The pace pro is very good, the mapping is a plus otherwise the pace 3 is even lighter.
r/Coros • Best Fitness Watch for me: Garmin or Coros? ->Really happy with coros pace 3 and waiting to get the dura once they fix some of the bugs it still has (sounds like they are already)
r/triathlon • What fitness devices do you use? ->Coros Pace is good value and the main stats are covered. I’ve been surprised how much faster I’m improving since using it and learning about the different metrics
r/triathlon • Anyone train without a fitness tracker? ->I’m into Coros so a Coros pace 3 and coros Dura
r/triathlon • What’s your tracking/device setup for training as a triathlete? ->I have and use a coros pace3 and a Garmin forerunner 255. The coros has great post activity stats and data. The Garmin has the daily suggested workout and the better coaching options. As for battery life coros is highly configurable so if you turn it to minimal satellite updates and turn off the features you don't use it will last for ages. If you turn on dual band satellite GPS and drop the HR refresh rate then it will use more battery. With my setup I get about a week out of my pace 3 and 10 days from the Garmin.
r/Coros • Best Fitness Watch for me: Garmin or Coros? ->Isn’t it annoying not having a dedicated light button? That’s what made me return my pace 3.
r/Coros • What fitness watch? ->I use a COROS pace 3 with an HR arm strap for fitness. No accidental buttons presses or pauses in activities due to the watch moving. This set up is under $300 and it just works with days of battery life.
r/AppleWatch • Is Apple Watch a better fitness tracker than Garmin is a smartwatch? ->Coros pace 3. Cheap and reliable.
r/Strava • I am looking for a cheap watch to sync my heart rate with my runs in strava ->Have had the Coros Pace Pro for a couple months now and it works perfectly, the pace 3 is cheaper and would largely work the same I’d assume. Garmin forerunners 155/165/255/265 likely has very similar functionality with Runna too in a similar price- depends how much you want to spend if your are only going to use on runs (I’d question why you don’t want to always wear to track health metrics?)
r/runna • Best running watch to use with Runna ->Yeah that makes sense then 🤝 By the sounds of things the Pace 3 would be a good fit for you- Coros has great integration with Runna with synced workout schedules and good GPS/battery life etc. It’s also meant to be super light weight - lighter than my pace pro which I forget I am even wearing half the time! They rarely go on sale but I managed to get a 10% off code on Pro Direct (UK- not sure if available elsewhere) when I bought mines 👍
r/runna • Best running watch to use with Runna ->i switched from apple to a garmin 265s, mostly bc i wanted the triathlon mode function. i also liked the coros pace 3, the battery life was amazing but it didn’t synch with spotify so i stayed with garmin. the 965 was a little too big for my small wrists.
r/triathlon • What fitness devices do you use? ->I recently started running and couldn't live without my Coros pace 3. Can't you just wear it while running?
r/running • Tracking without fitness watch ->I went from a Forerunner 245 to a Pace 3 and I really like it. The battery life is wild I prefer the Coros app.
r/Strava • Running/cycling fitness watch recommendations ->I’ve had and loved garmin forerunners and a coros pace. Slight preference for coros over garmin for battery life. Slight preference for garmin for multi-app interoperability. I’m actually planning to buy an Apple Watch because it’s fine as a fitness tracker and has better health tracking capabilities on top of the fitness stuff.
r/XXRunning • What fitness tracking watch do you use? ->I like my Coros Pace
r/UKRunners • Looking to switch from Smartwatch to Fitness watch - Recommendations? ->Basically any modern smartwatch will do this. Your axes of choice are ecosystem, battery life, and price. The basic Apple Watch will do what you want, but because you’re using the GPS, the battery will be dead mid-day. I do not recommend any Apple Watch but the Ultra for an athlete or active person because of the awful battery life. If you want something cheaper than the Ultra, I’d look at the Coros Pace and cheaper Garmin Forerunner options. They’ll both cost about half and are really good products with roughly 5-10x battery life vs the basic Apple Watch.
r/cycling • Best smartwatch for general fitness? ->Best value are Coros Pace and refurbished Garmin
r/triathlon • Anyone train without a fitness tracker? ->I've used Coros watches for about 6 years now. First a Pace and now an Apex 2 Pro. They don't have all the functions of a smart watch, but if you're concerned with accurately tracking workouts, I'd go with a Coros or Garmin. Plus, my battery lasts at least a week.
r/GooglePixel • Swimmer here. Which watch works best with a Google pixel? ->I will buy all future products from Coros. I am in love with the pace watch i purchased.
r/triathlon • Best fitness tracker? ->Coros Pace series. “Cheap” (for a fitness watch) but it has helped me run multiple marathons and a few ultras (110km). The only functionality I’ve ever missed on it is the lack of maps. It has breadcrumb navigation but no topography.
r/Strava • Running/cycling fitness watch recommendations ->I feel like discounting a watch based on not liking the style of them feels like not taking the training very seriously. No shade to those that train without a watch, but if you're foregoing having a screen with your live HR strapped to your wrist based on style then I feel like the priority is a bit upside down. I don't think I or anyone has ever thought about how stylish someones running watch looked when out on a run. I don't wear my Coros when I'm not running so it's not like we're accessorizing around it. I guess you could just use a phone and track the distances but IMO especially if you're a new running having an HR monitor on your wrist is invaluable. Before I understood how my body feels at the various zones I don't feel like I was effectively training and monitoring my progress live throughout a run really helped me improve fast.
r/running • Tracking without fitness watch ->Lovin' my Coros linked to Strava
r/Marathon_Training • What do you use to track your runs? ->I know I'm going to be the unpopular opinion here. I love my Coros but I've also tried Garmin and there's really not enough of a difference for me to recommend one over the other. I think it's whatever platform you're used to.
r/Coros • Best Fitness Watch for me: Garmin or Coros? ->Fitness watch is the way to go. Personally I use coros but Garmin is very popular too.
r/Marathon_Training • What do you use to track your runs? ->I'm a runner/crossfitter and enjoy the Coros watch. The sleep tracking and HRV are more generous than my fitbit was. (I'll take it ha!))
r/crossfit • Fitness tracker ->True, but my points are still valid. If Whoop have done anything that contravenes any laws they will find themselves getting challenged. If they haven’t, and I’d be surprised if their lawyers have missed any loopholes, then as I said, people can complain all they want but are left with the two options I mentioned. If they choose to leave I guarantee they will have some other issues with the platform they choose going forward. None are perfect. Good luck with whatever you do. I’ve gone with a Coros watch and the HRV4Training app. Covers all my requirements and is as streamlined as I can make it.
r/whoop • This MG thing feels like such a slap in the face as a user for the last 4 years. ->Yeah, my Coros doesn't seem to understand that kick sets exist. It also gets confused on sculling and some drills.
r/Swimming • do watches track workout splits properly and do club swimmers use them nowadays? ->Yeah but a coros watch could last a week without charge, running a half daily. Specifically for running coros/garmin are just far more useful.
r/AdvancedRunning • Apple Watch 10 for serious runner? ->
