Thanks for the suggestions. I have a square shape one which I find a bit bulky but I got it in the past for GPS function tracking for cycling/running. I might go for the Fit bit Flex 2 due to it's slimmer profile and footprint, as long as it controls the heart rate with alerts etc is good! Thanks again for your insight!

Whoop works with subscription and is ridiculously expensive for what it does "fit bit flex 2" looks slim/low-profile and does what I need. Thanks anyway

I originally bought a Fitbit because it was simple (Flex 2), and I wanted to track steps. I never got into Smart watches and currently wear an Inspire 3, but I want a simple tracker that doesn’t have to be attached to Google. I still haven’t switched over, and I probably will, but I continue to seek something simple for basic tracking that looks like a bracelet and not a watch.

Loved the Fitbit Flex 2, but it didn't have HR or GPS. It was basically just a pedometer.

Following. I loved the Fitbit Flex 2, it was just a step counter that synced with your phone. No screens and it would light up when you hit your goal. Then Fitbit stopped offering support for it and it stopped working. Also, now the Fitbits all have screens.

I started with the flex, then went to the Church to charge four and I’m at a charge five. I loved my flex and would’ve stayed with it, but I lost it out in a field. I then bought a charge 2 and about two years later I found my flex in the field. I lost it.

Not another smartwatch, but I have an old Fitbit Flex on the same wrist as my AWS4 (about to get S10). I only use the Fitbit to keep up with the step challenges from friends who are on Fitbit.

It’s not just notifications, it’s full integration. It honestly sounds like you didn’t do enough research when purchasing your iWatch. I went from a Fitbit 2 to iWatch, my battery lasted a week or so on the Fitbit, but it was laggy, constant updates, poor optimization, hardly any integration (because of iOS walls it off). I trade a shorter battery life all day than going back to the Fitbit. If you prefer barebones, only tracking health data and longer battery life android is the way to go. If you want full integration and be able to seamlessly access your iOS environment and overall superior performance, go iWatch. The down fall is the battery draining 18hrs - couple days depending on your model. Everything has trade offs in tech, you can’t always have it both ways.
