I wish they'd lean into the Sense line. I decided to leave my Sense 1 for a Garmin Venu 3 about 9 months ago, and while there are a lot of things about the Garmin that I like, I have to admit that the fitbit algorithms are superior for health and sleep tracking. I could tell when I was getting sick a day or two in advance with my fitbit based off of my resting heart rate and oxygenation, but with Garmin it all fluctuates so much every night I can't tell. The Garmin does track my heart rate significantly better while exercising, and I use the flashlight feature every night. Overall, if a Sense 3 was coming out, I'd switch back away from Garmin. But I do need the smart watch texting features and I prefer something that LOOKS like a smart watch for when I'm wearing business attire.
The reason I like my 570 is mainly the sizing options. The 42mm is perfect me along with the fact that I got a 25% discount code that expired after 10 days. My fitbit sense 1 just completely died on me. Essentially, it came down to the 265s or the 570. I went with the updated version.
I broke my sense 1 putting up siding on my house. I wear a versa 3 now which is holding up ok but I’m a computer programmer so maybe not a great example.
I have a sense 2 - which I love. It's got functional of a smart phone only if you want & keep your blue tooth on. I like that on the device, it will do an ecg, timers, fitpay, guided breathing, record exercise (3 basic), and more. I had a sense before this, and it lasted around 5+ years, I believe. I do not recommend the Circular Ring, I have version 2. Way to many growing pains with the app since August 25.
I have a fitbit sense & a circular 2 ring. I've had the circular 2 for about a month & the fitbit sense for 4-5 years. Both will track heart rate, sleep, steps, menstrual cycle, do breathing exercises ( circular only via the app), meditation, ecg testing for afib, etc. In terms of tracking, the fitbit wins hands down. It is and has been consistent with tracking data, downloading, and only lost a few days data when I needed a replacement charger. The Circular is having data outages, losing 4 days of data & needed a factory reset and has been a pain in the ass. As far as it thinks, I don't sleep. The saving features are: stress level tracking, live measurement data as it includes real time SPO2 information& Kira ( their wellness AI). If I had to recommend one, it would be the fitbit.
When my Sense went down last week, it wouldn't hold a charge, I got a new charger a year ago, so I should have seen it coming. I replaced it with the Sense 2 (both fitbit products). I like the long battery life, eda scan & relax features that can be used with or without the app. I can have it check up on my mood multiple times a day. Features like seeing emails or texts from the phone when Bluetooth is engaged are nice as well.
I'm very happy with my Sense 2. I got it after my Sense stopped charging after 5 years. I don't really use it as a smart phone much so my battery life lasts 7 days or better.
Wouldn't recommend getting a new Fitbit since they've been bought out by [Google](https://killedbygoogle.com/). I still have my Sense from 2020 and will be looking for another brand whenever this one dies.
I have a Fitbit sense I purchased a year ago after my versa 2 screen started having display issues after 4 plus years and the charge was down to 3 days. I love fitbits because of the long battery life and it has enough features for me. I don’t want a watch that has a smaller screen or needs charged daily … been there before and didn’t like it.
