I have a DW-H5600 and GBD-H2000. Which I wear daily and for sports. In my case cycling. Both have step counters and both transfer activities to Strava if you want.

It accurately transfers what’s on the watch

Can't speak to the GBDH2000, but I have a GPRH1000 and tried a DWH5600MB briefly before returning it and going back to the GPR. While the 5600 is a very attractive watch, the menu system is convoluted and (for me) was a pain to operate via the small pushers. I also have a hard time reading the text with 50 yo eyes. It's also limited to only 3 exercises if I recall correctly. So, for me it was too limited and didn't like it (as much as I really wanted to). Especially for the price tag With my GPR, I have a few more activities available in the watch for tracking (although mainly a runner). But the bigger display and much larger pusher (5 in all) make the menu system much more enjoyable and the extra features on the watch (barometer, compass, and thermometer) are helpful when deciding to go for a run and the weather looks sketchy. The only downsides of this watch are styling and size. It looks like it's from a Halo cosplay and it is a HUGE watch, so say goodbye to subtlety with this beast.

G shock DW-H5600. I broke the screen of my first apple watch, got water damage broke the second one. Now I have G shock smartwatch that has way longer battery life than apple watch, and is durable. At first, this watch had limiting functions, but after several updates, this thing is a beast.

Gshock DW-H5600, $180, has HR monitoring, fitness & sleep tracking. Charge every 7-8 days. Has notifications. Looks retro but has features. Amazfit TRex3 for $275 is a good option. Most of the brands have economical options, it’s a great time to shop.

I don’t like to wear anything in wrist when sleeping. I went with the Amazfit ecosystem for tracking. I use their ring at night at band during the day. But the gshock has a comfortable band on it and isn’t too big. It’s half the size of my wife’s Garmin and she wears that to bed wvery night

I would go with the square heart version. It’s rechargeable and only slightly thicker. Still around the same size and with the same display. I have both styles and use the rechargeable versions the most. I keep all of my GBD-200 models in airplane mode. Battery will not last long if you use it as a fitness watch.

This model is rechargeable and I use it more for workouts and running, rucking. Have all notifications on. Beeping and vibration all on for everything. Then you don’t care about battery and charge it every 4-5 days. Depends on how much you workout.

I have both the “big Rangeman” and the DW-H5600. The Rangeman has a more complete feature set for fitness. It also costs a good deal more - but if you like the sensors and such, you’ll like it, and you’d better get used to BIG watches. But many more feature-full fitness watches aren’t exactly small, so many it’s something that won’t bother you. It’s GPS-equipped but doesn’t “map out” your path until you sync it with a phone. Some find it annoying to need the phone at all, but some may find it liberating to not need the phone on the run or have to squint at a map on your wrist. The phone link also makes navigating the settings and features a bit simpler. The GPS is one of three ways it executes time sync as well, the other two being Multi Band 6 and Bluetooth. It’s not a Garmin, and it’s not an Apple Watch. And some people like that about it. I think if it as a “semi-smart” watch. You can run phone notifications through the watch if you want, but you can turn it off as well.

I use a casio gshock smart watch to track my workouts. It's quite banged up now but it's designed to take hits.
