Or Fenix 8, 43mm. Maps are awesome. I had a Fenix 7S but my last one is an Epix Pro 42mm.
Fenix battery is far superior but the Epix screen is much easier to see.
I bought it because of two things : fenix 8 comes in 43 mm gold (I'm a woman), and it has an important feature for me :'projected total calories', which helps me planning my meals. I also hate plastic watch, that's why I value how fenix looks.
I had Garmin fenix 8 and bought ultra 2, both amazing watches, but my heart is closer to Garmin.. However if I didn't have fenix, defiantly would stay with awu.
Fenix 8 AMOLED 43mm. I am consistently recharging every 7 days. I'll let it get to 10% or so and then charge to 80-85% every 7 days.
I use it for around 4 hours tracking strength training, 2-3 hours tracking climbing, and then various 1-2 mile walks throughout the week.
How do you like the super large display? I got a 43mm because it was more understated, but I'm still torn on whether or not I want the giant look or just a regular-looking watch.
My wife got me the 43, and I was hesitant because it's smaller, but I \*still\* knock it on shit, so I could only imagine if it were thicker/larger. haha
