r/PixelWatchPixel Watch 1 vs Pixel Watch 3 – Any Major Difference in Fitness Tracking?

PW 3 is MUCH better than the OG. Sleep tracking works every single night. It charges much, much faster. The battery lasts longer. The UI is quicker. Apps update faster. Fitness tracking is more accurate.

I was skeptical before I bought the original pixel watch on its release. I am now on a pixel watch 2 and I am a huge fan of Fitbit. I got 1 year of free premium with the original purchase and have been paying for premium since.

I gotta say - I'm leaning towards the Venu 4 myself. I had both PW1 and PW2, the battery is the killer here. The advertised battery life is usually worse in every day use. Aside from that, I turned off AOD and it still couldn't make it through the day after I had it for awhile. The battery gets worse pretty quickly (months) I'm over different chargers every Gen and then having to charge it daily. They being said I'm going to wait for reviews for both but I'm likely moving on.

I got the original PW and the PW2 when they were first released. I skipped the PW3, but got the PW4 when it was first released. I do not recommend buying an original PW or a PW2 at this point as the technology is too outdated. The PW4 is definitely better in a lot of ways (brighter screen, longer battery life, better GPS tracking), but the PW3 is still a solid option if you're looking for the Pixel Watch experience on a budget.

I went from the apple watch 6 (I think) with my iPhone 11 to a Pixel 6a and Pixel Watch (gen 1) and love my watch and my phone! I'm over 2 years into using these devices and both get me about 1.5 days of battery life. I do recommend getting the newer versions of these devices though!

r/PixelWatchAccuracy of Pixel Watch on counting steps and sleep tracking?

I have a PW1, the sleep tracking seems off as it counts when I am up to use the restroom as sleep. I also compared the HRV to what is on my Galaxy 7 and the number PW1 gives me is half of what my Watch 7 gives me.
