Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works
Huawei GT 3, 3 years old, was 14 days of battery life, now 7 days max, lots of free watch faces, waterproof, round shape, good enough fitness tracker, much cheaper than Garmin. Cons are huawei health app not available in play store, easy enough to side load, wallet only works in China, remote shutter only works with Huawei phone, need to top up a bit for sapphire glass model.
I have a Huawei GT3 and a Galaxy S21FE, and it works perfectly. You download Huawei Health from the Samsung app store. And it works very well. I mainly use it for swimming, but I do miss the kick function.
Goods naman, pero Hindi ko lang sure kung may custom running courses yan(pwede mag personalize ng intervals). Much better if Fit 3 or Fit 4 na kunin mo. Other huawei I recommend: Gt3, Gt4, and Gt5.
I just got the regular GT 3 about 2 weeks ago and the sleep tracking is so hit or miss. One morning it said my bedtime was 2:30, but I was constantly getting in and out of bed until 3:50, so I definitely wasn't asleep. Other nights it seems pretty bang on
Google needs be upfront about discontinuing Fitbits. My much loved versa 3 just died and I’ve discovered, when trying to buy a new one, that it’s no longer being manufactured and those that are in use aren’t getting updates. I’d just renewed my premium subscription before it died. So I chose to move away from Google and not go through this again with another Google Fitbit. I’m now trialling a Huawei 3 https://www.theverge.com/22982833/best-fitbit-watch-fitness-tracker
I have in the past but now I use a dedicated bike computer. There are some well within your budget that have maps and would be way better than trying to navigate using a small watch screen. There are a couple of Magene computers you can get on AliExpress that are highly rated for the $$. If you are really committed to having a watch, there are a lot of Garmin competitors that would work. I'm thinking Amazfit Trex (or one of the many other watches in the range), Huawei GT etc. off the top of my head.
Inside WearOS: - OnePlus Outside WearOS - Samsung (GalaxyFit3) - Garmin - Polar - Coros - Huawei - Amazfit - Xiaomi - Pebble Personal recommendation for Android WearOS? - OnePlus Watch 3 Personal recommendation outside WearOS? - Huawei Watch GT series - Amazfit Bip 6 - Amazfit Balance 2 (Up to 21 days, from my experience, it is a tank in endurance) - Amazfit Active 2 - Garmin Vivoactive 6, Venu 3 (4 rumored to be coming soon), Garmin Fenix series, Garmin Enduro series (usually MIP display but there is one with AMOLED display, can last around a month) - Redmi Watch 5 (up to 21 days or so) - Pebble Time 2 or Pebble Duo 2 (Upcoming release with E-ink Paper display, up to 30 days) Note that these recommendations are strictly battery life related. Functionality wise, you're gonna have to choose.
If you are concerned about battery life, we recommend a smartwatch from a Chinese manufacturer. If you care about your health, the Huawei GT series is the one for you.I can recommend it. The best one for everyday use is the amazfit. I own the GTR3pro and am very happy with it.
Huawei sounds like a good option for you. It automatically syncs with Apple Health, battery life is great and the stats are pretty accurate. Oh, and the price is also not too expensive (for the GT series, that is). Another option could be Garmin, but their prices are high.
