Sleep tracking is really good in gt5 pro
I have mine for a month now. Previously I owned Galaxy watch 3 and couple of Huawei’s (Ultimate, GT 3 pro and GT 5 Pro) as mentioned above it is not health oriented as Huawei like lack of ecg. But monitors your fitness courses much better and gives much more accurate insights from Huawei. Also I love to reply my whatsapp messages via voice dictation, works like a charm. And also battery is great, I am working out 5 times a week 2 of them with gps on and still have 14 days of battery life. On update side, I am not sure if these smartwathces needs a lot updates like phones because their software is much more closed enviroment. And yes build quality and feel on the wrist is very good. I bought a stainless stell strap and use this watch with suit.
Huawei watches are better looking, better sensors and week long battery life. They take Apple to school.
I can recommend the Huawei GT5 or GT5 Pro. Battery life and fitness are good. Smart notifications are very good. And they're also nice to wear.

HUAWEI GT-5 or 6 works flawlessly with my iPhone 13 and 15. The GT5 is a good looking very functional watch with a long battery life. The GT5 Pro is on sale as the new model GT6 is being released.

Are you in North America? If so, download the Optimity app, play a bunch of games until you can unlock the 20% off code. It should work on the 970 since it's been out for more than 2 months. I was thinking of the 970 myself, I think it's the perfect watch if you don't need the build and ruggedness of the Fenix series. Holding off only because I bought a Huawei GT5 Pro last year which is serving me well for the most part. I prefer the Garmin watches and ecosystem but maybe in another year when I get real tired of this watch.
Think I'm going to get a Venu 4 in 5 weeks when I can use my 20% Optimity code which I generated last year. Have a Huawei GT5 Pro now but I want the advanced Health metrics of the Venu 4. I like the yellow band as well with the silver bezel, will likely opt for that one. Originally, I wanted the Fenix 8 but the low speaker volume flaw soured my inclination to spend that amount of money on it. Then looked at the Forerunner 970 but it doesn't look like it'll have all of the advanced Health and Sleep features of the Venu 4. So I do think that the Venu 4 will be the best watch to suit my needs. Looks like the build quality is improved as well from the 3 which is a huge addition imo.
