Ditch the smart watch for a low pro, screenless fitness tracker (helio, hume, whoop, etc). Rock the nice watch on the other wrist. ENJOY being one of the few people who isn’t pretending that glancing at a smart watch during a conversation is any less weird than a phone.
Came from a fitbit Charge 6 and already looked at garmin, whoop, and oura first. Tried hume band in the end because I didn’t want another subscription bro lol first couple weeks the data was so inconsistent but so far after it learned my patterns and it’s been decent for recovery, strain, and sleep tracking. Better than my old Fitbit in those areas, though not as polished as Garmin still.
I recently got the Hume band and went back to wearing mechanical watches. It’s nice not looking at my watch every 2 seconds because of a notification. Find myself having a lot less screen time now. It’s a nice change.
The Hume band is garbage. I am currently in the process of requesting a refund within their policy. Their customer service has been so unhelpful. Unfortunately I have little faith that they will actually give me my money. I hope I’m wrong and they will; but if not, I’ll fight them. I will need to utilize chargeback service through my credit card company and will report them to consumer protection entities.
