Same. Had the TicWarch 3 and now 5 but the lack of updates, bloatware and bugs like phantom notifications are really annoying. I love the LCD screen and the *idea* of super long battery life but in practice it means l just put it back on the charger with 85% battery every day. I'll be picking up a Pixel Watch later this year.

With my Ticwatch 3 Pro slowly dying, I was in a market for a new watch. While I considered Ticwatch 5 Pro, I ultimately opted for OnePlus Watch 3. I want to emphasize, that this is not an edorsement, as the watch will arrive in late April. I wanted a watch that could keep up with me (battery life) react swiftly and I could trust the maker with some sort of support. I cannot pick Mobvoi, as their software support is an afterthought, official distributor told me, that they cannot replace my battery in TWP3. So hopefully OnePlus watch will have the battery life they are promising.

My experience with ticwatch was with the original pro and then the 3 pro. The original pro was laggy to the point of being unusable, and the 3 pro, when it eventually did get one of the few system updates, had the battery completely die not long after. I got fed up with ticwatch, and you can't trust them for anything to be honest. I've used the galaxy watch since the active 2 and up through the 7 (44mm). Working fine for me, but I don't particularly care for samsung's choice of notification cards (whole-screen horizontally-scrolled cards as opposed to a vertical list like most other watches). But it isn't a dealbreaker. Most everything else, I think samsung has the best overall experience. You could also look into a pixel watch 3. I used the pixel watch 2 and 3 (the 3 is no different from the 2 experience except for the larger size option; the SOC is the same and the software is the same). I think google's software features and fit-and-finish is lacking for their watch (for example, there is no option on a pixel watch to just automatically turn on the screen when a notification comes in to view the notification; you have to manually interact with it by either tapping the screen within a few seconds or lift-to-wake the watch, which is very unreliable--that actually was a dealbreaker for me).

I've given up on the Strava Wear OS app as it constantly stops recording for me when running, cycling or on elliptical ... Have tried on Ticwatch 3 & 5 and now the OnePlus Watch 3. I now use the manufacturer health app on the watch (Ohealth for OnePlus) and have the sync to Strava on ... Works flawlessly. No maps though!

My last few watches have been Mobvoi watches. My favorite feature is the dual screen for battery life. I have had issues, so I recommend getting the "insurance" if you get it. I currently have the TicWatch 5 Atlas. I also have a TicWatch 3 Pro and a TicWatch 3 Pro Ultra. The Ultra I got as a replacement when the second screen stopped working within my extended coverage period. The sleep tracking with the Atlas is great and backs up to Google's Health Connect. I used to use Sleep As Android for sleep tracking. If you get a Wear OS watch, Sleep As Android will be an option for sleep tracking on any of them, but will use more of your battery.

I've had a bunch of watches -- currently on the PW3 (large) and previously a bunch of Ticwatches. The battery life on the Ticwatch was amazing, but the software was buggy and the updates were slow. Apart from a few issues around swim tracking, the Pixel Watch is amazing. I regularly get 36+ hours of battery life and I don't have any issues with going two days without charging. Another option is a fitbit. You get most of what you want, with better battery life, but less powerful notifications. Also -- PW and Fitbit both give you a daily update based on your sleep and blood oxygen, heart rate etc to give you a better idea of your state of health and readiness. So I don't check them all directly, but it does help. And the PW3 does have a loss of heartbeat detector so that if you faint, it will call emergency services (in a few countries right now)

I loved the TicWatch initially and am on my second one, but I won't be buying from them anymore despite having the nice separate LCD screen to help with battery. I'll be ordering the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 in a day or so.

My watch, my 2nd one but can't remember model, as it just died, straight up didn't support it. Mobvoi blamed Google and vice versa. Oh well, Samsung will be my next, and I'm happy with my S24 phone too
