I wanted this from a smartwatch too. My current watch is a TW Pro 3 Ultra. The vibration is modest, but noisy, to the point where it's almost as loud as the audible alarm. Ask for people's thoughts on how loud the vibration is too.

I'm in the same boat (coming from TicWatch Pro 3 ultra). I don't care about the lack of upgrades, but overall, it's been a little too glitchy and I'd like to try something else. I really like the dual layer screen of the TicWatch, so hopefully the benefits of the dual chip in the OnePlus wins me over. I'm looking forward to mid April when it's shipping, apparently.

I had TicWatch 3 Ultra (actually 3 of them due to failures and warranty claims) and with battery dying, I too was shopping. Didn't want Mobvoi stuff anymore for the lack of innovation, small screen and awful support (though I was pretty much shielded from it by national service company which did adhere to European standards) and unfulfilled promises about updates.  I got OnePlus and I'm pretty happy getting them, though the lack of overlayed LCD screen is a huge downgrade. The only failure of OnePlus is watch face situation, which is also fault of Wear OS 5, which killed access to watch for 3rd party watch faces and creation tools. Support for 3rd party watch faces will be back in Wear OS 6 (and OnePlus 3 watches should get updates until Wear OS 7, so hopefully we get it back). Back to watch faces on OP3, none of them adhere to AOD requirements as set by standards. Watches even warn you how much battery life AOD will take (like 2 days). So AOD support on OP3 is currently NON-EXISTENT. I've even tried to create a proper watch face using Samsung Watch Face Studio, but the OP3 immediately complaint it will reduce battery life and it really did. I suspect Wear OS 5 has a big in appointment listing, so I might to try to remove the next appointment from the watch face and see, if it helps. Or try it programmatically from scratch in Android Studio. So this is quite a big downdrade, hopefully will be fixed on time.

TicWatch... Had the Pro 2020, Pro 3 Ultra, 2x Pro 5 and now the Pro 5 Enduro... Waiting for the Atlas to arrive too... Great smartwatches, great battery too.

My last few watches have been Mobvoi watches. My favorite feature is the dual screen for battery life. I have had issues, so I recommend getting the "insurance" if you get it. I currently have the TicWatch 5 Atlas. I also have a TicWatch 3 Pro and a TicWatch 3 Pro Ultra. The Ultra I got as a replacement when the second screen stopped working within my extended coverage period. The sleep tracking with the Atlas is great and backs up to Google's Health Connect. I used to use Sleep As Android for sleep tracking. If you get a Wear OS watch, Sleep As Android will be an option for sleep tracking on any of them, but will use more of your battery.

I quite liked the TicWatch I had until it disappeared. I think it was a Pro 3 Ultra.

With my Ticwatch 3 Pro slowly dying, I was in a market for a new watch. While I considered Ticwatch 5 Pro, I ultimately opted for OnePlus Watch 3. I want to emphasize, that this is not an edorsement, as the watch will arrive in late April. I wanted a watch that could keep up with me (battery life) react swiftly and I could trust the maker with some sort of support. I cannot pick Mobvoi, as their software support is an afterthought, official distributor told me, that they cannot replace my battery in TWP3. So hopefully OnePlus watch will have the battery life they are promising.

My experience with ticwatch was with the original pro and then the 3 pro. The original pro was laggy to the point of being unusable, and the 3 pro, when it eventually did get one of the few system updates, had the battery completely die not long after. I got fed up with ticwatch, and you can't trust them for anything to be honest. I've used the galaxy watch since the active 2 and up through the 7 (44mm). Working fine for me, but I don't particularly care for samsung's choice of notification cards (whole-screen horizontally-scrolled cards as opposed to a vertical list like most other watches). But it isn't a dealbreaker. Most everything else, I think samsung has the best overall experience. You could also look into a pixel watch 3. I used the pixel watch 2 and 3 (the 3 is no different from the 2 experience except for the larger size option; the SOC is the same and the software is the same). I think google's software features and fit-and-finish is lacking for their watch (for example, there is no option on a pixel watch to just automatically turn on the screen when a notification comes in to view the notification; you have to manually interact with it by either tapping the screen within a few seconds or lift-to-wake the watch, which is very unreliable--that actually was a dealbreaker for me).

I've given up on the Strava Wear OS app as it constantly stops recording for me when running, cycling or on elliptical ... Have tried on Ticwatch 3 & 5 and now the OnePlus Watch 3. I now use the manufacturer health app on the watch (Ohealth for OnePlus) and have the sync to Strava on ... Works flawlessly. No maps though!

I've had a bunch of watches -- currently on the PW3 (large) and previously a bunch of Ticwatches. The battery life on the Ticwatch was amazing, but the software was buggy and the updates were slow. Apart from a few issues around swim tracking, the Pixel Watch is amazing. I regularly get 36+ hours of battery life and I don't have any issues with going two days without charging. Another option is a fitbit. You get most of what you want, with better battery life, but less powerful notifications. Also -- PW and Fitbit both give you a daily update based on your sleep and blood oxygen, heart rate etc to give you a better idea of your state of health and readiness. So I don't check them all directly, but it does help. And the PW3 does have a loss of heartbeat detector so that if you faint, it will call emergency services (in a few countries right now)

I loved the TicWatch initially and am on my second one, but I won't be buying from them anymore despite having the nice separate LCD screen to help with battery. I'll be ordering the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 in a day or so.

My watch, my 2nd one but can't remember model, as it just died, straight up didn't support it. Mobvoi blamed Google and vice versa. Oh well, Samsung will be my next, and I'm happy with my S24 phone too
