Ticwatch pro 5. I got one for 100€ on amazon and it has amazing battery life (3-4 days), very good health tracking and a dual display - the second one looks like an old casio. Full Android Wear compatible and very fast. New they were 350€, now they're a steal.

I had my first for 5yrs, had the 5pro since Christmas. Had to do occasional resets over the years when apps went wonky but otherwise rock solid.

Fair play to Google. Rocking a TicWatch 5 pro and I charge it once every 4 days.

What is it like on workout detection? My Samsung Galaxy does a far better job than my Ticwatch pro 5, but the battery on the galaxy watch is terrible in comparison so I end up swapping watches depending on what I'm doing. Even on a treadmill with both watches on, the galaxy tracks better despite the treadmill being made by Mobvoi! It would be nice to have a watch that does both.

I would check Quantified Scientist Youtube channel's latest video and buy the highest rank on sleep tracking chart that's within your budget. Another thing to consider is metric, if you just need correct total sleep time tracking (like most people, because it's the most important metric to nail) then many watch would do. However, if you need correct HRV, Spo2, Deep sleep and REM tracking then you might need to spend more. My Ticwatch Pro 5 track my total sleeping time and HRV like a pro, scarily accurate (using Sleep As Android, not native feature which is trash). However, when it comes to deep sleep (and maybe REM too) it's a bit of a let down. It fails to detect some deep sleep period so my deep sleep percentage is often a bit lower than expect. Maybe consider OPW2/3 for better support but I think it has the same accuracy. The best way is to save up for an Oura ring, but that's a bit expensive.

Does anyone track hiking with the watch? My walks are often 4 or so hours, I'm interested in how well it does on those, my Ticwatch Pro 5 can handle it but sometimes drops 40% of its battery on a long walk.

For battery life I would go Ticwatch or OnePlus 3. I have the latest Galaxy Watch and while the watch itself is slimmer than my Ticwatch 5, its battery life isn't great. I would have 70% battery left after listening to podcasts all day on my Ticwatch, while I have less than 50% with my Galaxy Watch.

Same. Had the TicWarch 3 and now 5 but the lack of updates, bloatware and bugs like phantom notifications are really annoying. I love the LCD screen and the *idea* of super long battery life but in practice it means l just put it back on the charger with 85% battery every day. I'll be picking up a Pixel Watch later this year.

I've given up on the Strava Wear OS app as it constantly stops recording for me when running, cycling or on elliptical ... Have tried on Ticwatch 3 & 5 and now the OnePlus Watch 3. I now use the manufacturer health app on the watch (Ohealth for OnePlus) and have the sync to Strava on ... Works flawlessly. No maps though!

I've had a bunch of watches -- currently on the PW3 (large) and previously a bunch of Ticwatches. The battery life on the Ticwatch was amazing, but the software was buggy and the updates were slow. Apart from a few issues around swim tracking, the Pixel Watch is amazing. I regularly get 36+ hours of battery life and I don't have any issues with going two days without charging. Another option is a fitbit. You get most of what you want, with better battery life, but less powerful notifications. Also -- PW and Fitbit both give you a daily update based on your sleep and blood oxygen, heart rate etc to give you a better idea of your state of health and readiness. So I don't check them all directly, but it does help. And the PW3 does have a loss of heartbeat detector so that if you faint, it will call emergency services (in a few countries right now)
