"Excellent battery life (The OPW3 is the best out of every WearOS watch at this time of writing"
"has a much better autonomy (between 5 and 10 days) depending on your use."
"The best battery life saving mode (Makes your watch still functional, while increasing the battery life up to 2 weeks or so)"

I would consider a OnePlus watch. The 3 is the latest. I have a 2R which has been fine for my use cases so far. It supports NFC and apps. I have the always on display activated and it is lasting around 3 days. It's VOOC charging is also very fast. The 2R is on WearOS 4 but the Oxygen UI still gives features like the App Grid. It is expected to update to WearOS 5 later this year.
@gdir You guys both say 'fast charging', but what does that mean exactly? I used the OPW2 for about 2 weeks before my OPW3 came in the mail and I compared with both chargers. The 2 charger was slower by about 10-15mins on each watch. With my 3 charger the most it ever takes is just shy of an hour, about 58-59 mins, and that's from 0-100%. If there's even 5-10% already on the watch when I snap it on it'll take 40-45 mins. So with using the 2 charger, that would be 1hr-1:15hr. I know 15 mins doesn't sound like a lot, but I never have to charge more than an hour, and that's huge to me. It's the fastest charging watch with 2nd to longest battery life, while still being the most capable I've ever used. I've used Garmin, Fitbit, and this OPW3 over the last 10 years. (I'm not including Moto 360 watch from 2014, that was a failure...)
I think the OPW2 was pretty ass tbh, but the latest greatest insanely expensive watch having to go power save to get 3 days is pretty funny. But hey, if you like it that's all that matters.
Very odd I have a GW4 it doesn't track naps but my op 2r does very accurately as well.
I'm a converted fan to OnePlus. Had the OP Watch 2 for over a year now and it's rock solid, battery is 4-5 days easy, it's beautiful, bright, tons of first party watch faces, I'm a fan, and have been wearing android watches since the ole Moto 360 flat tire.
I had the Oneplus 2r and sold it. Great battery life but too many quirks. Don't know if the Oneplus 3 is better. I am super happy with my Galaxy watches and my Galaxy Z flip 5.
Examples? I would walk 50 steps and when I stopped the Oneplus 2R watch would keep going 6 steps ahead, Sleep monitoring didn't show any active awake time even though I remember waking up on a restless night. The stress meter didn't work and the quick panel icons are not adjustable and the O'health app is very basic. Maybe they fixed these on the Oneplus 3. My favorite galaxy watch is the Galaxy 5Pro. Wear O/S Battery life is the same as the OnePlus 2R watch but with much better vibration. It's not as good looking as the One-plus watch but has more accurate functions. These are my opinions.
I agree that the battery life of the Oneplus 2, 2r is great and the Oneplus 3 must be even better since the battery is larger and I'm glad you are enjoying it. I do disagree on the health sensors compared to the galaxy watches. O'health does not compare to Samsung health. O'health needs more work. Did they improve it with the Oneplus 3?
You mention you want to use your watch for hiking I believe you are better with the Galaxy watch. The step count on the galaxy watches is right on the step count on the Oneplus watches is off. I have read this for the Oneplus 2, I experienced it on my Oneplus 2R and the Oneplus 3 has the same processors so I would be concerned. The galaxy watches get the updates the Ticwatches do not. My galaxy watches already have wear 5.0. The other problem with the Oneplus watch is the sleep monitoring. If you take a nap it will link in with your sleep score and you can not remove it. The galaxy watches have a much better sleep monitoring and if you take a nap it is registered separately so you can remove it or keep it. The stress monitoring on the Oneplus watch simply does not work. Galaxy watches win here again. If vibration strength is important to you the Galaxy 5 and 5 pro have the strongest vibration. I could go on and on.
I have tried Fossil. Skagen, Galaxy 4 and 6, Ticwatches, Oneplus, Amazfit watches. The ticwatches I tried had terrible vibration. I recently was surprised and found the galaxy 5 and the Galaxy 5 pro watches and they both have great vibrations. The 5 pro is thicker and its vibration is the best I have felt in years. Reminds me of the Pebble time and time steel which had a similar vibration. I would also like to point out the Galaxy watch 5 is 44 and the 5 Pro 45mm. The 40mm usually have less vibration strength.
OnePlus watch 2. Good basic tracker but long battery life.
Oneplus watch 2R - one of the most reliable and economical watch out there. I've been using it more than a year and it's dual band gps is very accurate, also battery life is great. The live data provides pace, time, heart rate zone, heart rate elevation, energy and music control. It provides more rich data in its mobile app - cadence, stride length, GCT balance - which are helpful in improving the running from and heart recovery. The price is around 12k now. also syncs with strava.

Love me a traditional watch so don't fault you, but there are great SmartWatch options out there. My OnePlus Watch 2 lasts 4+ days of straight use and charges back to 100% in ~30 minutes.
I've been on the OPW2 for a year and agree these are great, 4+ days on a charge and less than 30 minutes to charge it back to full. I basically only take it off to shower, but don't need to.
I got the One+ 43mm after much research. Absolutely love it. I can't stand all the huge watches and wanted something a bit smaller / slimmer. It's very full featured and looks good to me. And a hell of a lot cheaper than the Garmins and the like. My wife has the Garmin Lily 2 which is really small and she loves it. I'm not a fan of the monochrome display though but she's happy with it. For the record we'll never get a fitbit again - she tried them for years and they always developed weird software glitches after about a year and then became too annoying to keep.
