Polar - A370

Having waited for polar to release something like this the past 2 years I’ve pulled the trigger and ordered. I’ve been wearing my a370 from launch day as my daily tracker and currently have a grit x pro/h10/oh1 which I use for recording exercising. With this combo I was able to wear a traditional watch on one wrist and keep track of my daily activity with the a370 on the other. I will admit I was disappointed at first as I was almost certain they would use the elixir sensor which would better the grit x pro with temp and blood oxygen measurements while I slept. Believing this is why I’ve held off upgrading to an elixir watch. However my personal essential needs have been met and I have faith in polars algorithms. Plus it’ll look a little less clunky than my a370 hidden under a whoop band. Looking forward to next week’s dispatch.

No elixir sensor is a big letdown considering the price. Yes I can record my activity and not wear two watches but tempted to stick with my a370 disguised in whoop band and save the money. I had the exact opposite experience, switched to a polar one and didn’t have any issues anymore

G-Shock Edit: Used to wear a Fitbit. Broke too many of them hitting my punching bag. The heartbreak tracker would stop working. Fitbit was great about sending me replacements. I got sick of it and bought a Polar heart rate monitor. So much more accurate anyway. I pair that with my iPhone. Whenever I’m not hitting the bag or tracking heart rate, I wear my G-Shock.
