"battery lasts me forever, I charge it once a week and I game every day."
"especially because of the battery life. ... The mouse I had right before this was the steelseries super light one, that was an every other day charge at minimum. Whereas this one is like once a week at most - and I work from home and game all night."
"Oh, and the battery lasts days even when exercising a lot (weeks without excercise)."

"When it comes to data accuracy / quality especially for sleep tracking nothing beats Oura."
"it tracks my sleep well, even naps. ... First device I've used that actually benefits me by telling me how rested I am, and being accurate about it."
"Sleep monitoring - iwatch is very lenient and id depend on helio coz it seems more realistic (i know if I’ve had a good nights sleep)"

"HR - even better in tracking than AW. Less drop offs in readings during workouts. 9.5/10 ... I open zepp only to track heartrate."
"The HR data is solid! ... I am currently testing it agains the Morpheus recovery system chest strap and it is almost a 1 to 1 comparison."
"I have my HS on my wrist connected to Runna, and the HR matches up near-perfectly (+/-1 bpm) against my Garmin Epix Pro gen 2 with HRM Pro Plus."

"simplicity and comfort of Race S"
"The watch itself looks really nice, it's made of nice materials, it's got nice UI touches, and the whole aesthetic is just much more streamlined and well-designed."

"sleep is a disaster ... I was watching TV and I was already asleep ... when I go to the bathroom in the evening, the venu didn't even notice that I was sleeping, or didn't even recognize that I went to the bathroom."
"Sleep tracking is great if you are an amazing sleeper who doesn’t have interrupted sleep or gets up in the night. I get up to pray and when I go back it doesn’t pick up that sleep again. It is an issue because sleep tracking was a major reason for me buying a fitness tracker."
"I also found the sleep tracking on the GW6 to be much more reliable. ... I have small kids so I wake up every now and then during the night and on the Garmin - it's so frustrating to be told in the morning that I had a great night of sleep with only 10 mins of time awake when I spent 40 mins trying to get my 2yo to fall back asleep."
I have to say I’m really disappointed/underwhelmed about the Polar Loop and Polar Flow announcements. Firstly, the Loop just seems like a copy+paste of the Business version of the band. Secondly, why announce it back in June/July (whenever it was) making us wait till September, if all the key features are not ready at launch. The Whoop’s app UI/UX is one of the main reason it is the market leader by a mile. And one of the core principles of being a consumer is do not buy something today, on the promise of an improvement tomorrow. … since I’ve been eagerly awaiting the band, I’ve pre-ordered it anyway In general it seems like they do not have their shxt in order. Thoughts? EDIT: - Cancelled my pre-order. Tried to have faith in the product but I just don’t, the more I learn about it. Will wait for full reviews to come before I make a decision now.
r/Polarfitness • Polar Loop Underwhelming? ->Random thought but Wow, Polar even recycled the name LOOP from a 10+ year old device.
r/Polarfitness • Polar Loop Underwhelming? ->Surely it’s not missing HRV? If anyone can confirm that please let me know lmao, I’m cancelling my order
r/Polarfitness • Polar Loop Underwhelming? ->Just got the Polar Loop and honestly not a fan at all. Has anyone here gone through their refund process? Was it smooth?
r/Polarfitness • Loop megathread ->Huh, it does measure your HRV during the night? (which, from scientific point of view, is the only sensible time to continously measure it) All I cared from this release is info about new app and it is coming, so I guess my needs are met. The Loop itself is pretty much what I imagined it would be, so kinda meh. I was hoping Polar would come up with some new feature but it's just rehashing old stuff in new body, which it was Polar has been doing lately.
r/Polarfitness • New Band revealed ! ->Yes. I have trialed it for a few months. Got at launch. Not that good. The hardware feels nice. Looks solid... But not as useful as the whoop for actionable data. In fact not useful so have stopped wearing it recently
r/Garmin • Finally a "whoop" device from Garmin? ->A clear win for Polar in the looks department.
r/Polarfitness • Loop vs Helio Strap ->Well, the Loop is out! A little disappointed that it doesn't offer some essential functions, such as : - No Elixir technology (with skin temp), but a Precision Prime technology, as in the Pacer or Ignite series - No vibration (alarm) - No wireless charger, like Whoop - No NFC (Bluetooth sharing), like H10 or any other device actually - No armband [currently, I think it’s just a matter of time] - Poor activity auto-detection, but I heard that Helio too, only Whoop’s better on this - App update in progress (3 phases), end of 2025 for Apple users - WR30 only - Double-activity if watch + Loop, and that is very what I was hoping for, the possibility to practice with my Vantage watch without taking off the Loop. Now I have to choose between my watch or the Loop+my smartphone. Could someone tell me if the Helio Strap is better for these different functions? Thank you.
r/Polarfitness • Polar Loop vs Amazfit Helio Strap ->My comparison: ||Polar|Amazfit| |:-|:-|:-| |Weight|29g|20g| |Fit/Style|I suppose similar|I suppose similar| |Price|180€|100€| |Sensors/Data|Good OHR|\+Temp+SPO2| |Ecosystem|Good|?| |Company|European, good support|?| Amazfit wins on specs, atleast on paper. Weight is clear winner, but the data is not necessarily. Temp is reported to never be very useful on wrist wearables, and I have no use for SPO2, and I don't really trust the stress, or any other "biocharge" indices. I ordered the Polar for now. I will try it. If it feels good, I will keep it. If I don't like the fit, I will buy Amazfit for trial. Slightly disappointed that it wasn't revolutionary, but it's probably just fine.
r/Polarfitness • Polar Loop vs Amazfit Helio Strap ->As for me: I did another run, it's still giving great data. https://preview.redd.it/m2yckqjp74pf1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=2f7d4f29543774c92426dbff3e2ec2740d69c19e
r/Polarfitness • Polar Loop - Scientific Review and Initial Test! ->It's exported from polar flow, as csv. Loop is recorded using the Flow app, while H10 is recorded using the Beat app
r/Polarfitness • Polar Loop - Scientific Review and Initial Test! ->I'd guess it's just interpolation and filtering, and for some reason they don't account for that. It's actually more than that, seems to be maybe \~25 seconds. Plots give wrong value because I start the recordings at a different time, I'll try to fix that for next post if I make one. I would want to test the sleep data, by wearing H10 overnight and compare the HRV values to those calculated from RRI e: for the loop that doesn't really matter, but in some watches it's really annoying when it lags behind if you are interested to see it kinda 'live'
r/Polarfitness • Polar Loop - Scientific Review and Initial Test! ->Hi you need to use the polar loop a while as I have found it very good for price and and the more I have used it the better it gets as I think it takes time for it to get use to you I like the sleep cycle as it let's me know how much and what type of sleep I getting plus I have been looking at some of the settings as you need to adjust them to your situation
r/Polarfitness • Polar Loop - Scientific Review and Initial Test! ->Was really looking forward to this one as well, the same internals didn't really bother me but the lack of sensors and data insight does. I do believe Polar is accurate from their data perspective but their app needs a revamp too. I'm giving Hume a shot (fingers crossed) otherwise Helio will be my go to.
r/Polarfitness • New Band revealed ! ->Noted Thank you! The draw to me originally was more the stress, strain, recovery etc where it seems Hume may have a lead. Familiar with Helio of course but thanks for the heads up. It's why I was banking on the Polar Loop so much.
r/Polarfitness • New Band revealed ! ->Average population doesn't test those devices as he does. It's a HR tracker as a basis for everything. It should simply work. And seems like it doesn't
r/Polarfitness • Polar Loop - Scientific Review and Initial Test! ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
