I personally use a Suunto Nine Peak Pro with a Wahoo Trackr hr monitor and I don’t have any complaints. The ui is a bit more friendly than my previous Garmin and the integration between apps like Strava, Zwift, and iFIT is flawless. The battery life was more than enough for a 50k I ran with full gps. The watch and hr monitor currently would run you about $350-400 all in.

Yes. I wear my Suunto peak 9 pro for everything, 24/7 except for when it’s charging. Let’s just say it’s scratched 🤷🏼

Hey!! I do open water with a previous version of this [Suunto peak](https://amzn.to/3AQWu6D) and its amazing. GPS is precise, water temp (I believe though never double checked) also fine.

The Polar Vantage M3 is on sale for 299€ where I live (Grit X2 378€) which is a good price and I bought it. I am happy with the purchase and can easily recommend it to especially all beginners (Fitspark, nightly recharge and overall an easy to use system). I have previously had the Pacer Pro (very good basic whatch) but like the M3 more. I have also a Suunto 9 Peak pro and the Race. Both Suuntos are good watches, but I wanted to try Polar again. No regrets so far and it will be interesting to see the comming software updates which are said to be released by the end of the year.

I have used AW, Garmin, Polar and Suunto and AW is by far the worst sportwatch. After switching back to Polar after AW the quality of life improved immediately by not having to charge the thing more than once a week.
