I had one of those Garmins and it lasted me 2-3 years before the screen faded. I replaced it with the Withings Steel HR and after 5 years, it stopped vibrating. My Scanwatch Light replacement is such actual useless trash that I'm back to the old one, which stays charged a for much longer time and works better with the app. The other poster said she didn't use the phone notifications - that's something I actually do value, and the new one wouldn't stay connected to my phone. I'd have recommended Withings so strongly before, but I can't anymore.
I have a withings hybrid that I love. less ugly imo, was a decent price, and feels less like you have a piece of tech attached to you at all times. plus it measures everything I need and want
the withings watches are great.
they are great for everyday tracking oft steps, sleep and some health metrics.
they are weak on sport/fitness and smart/notification features.
But it my daily driver.
the scales are also great, I prefer the medium models (old cardio or new body comp), the high end ones seem a bit gimmicky.
so don't worry, try them, there is a good chance you will be very happy.
