"especially because of the battery life. ... The mouse I had right before this was the steelseries super light one, that was an every other day charge at minimum. Whereas this one is like once a week at most - and I work from home and game all night."
"offers significantly better battery life ... insane battery life"
"Oh, and the battery lasts days even when exercising a lot (weeks without excercise)."

"Additionally Whoop is simply comfortable to use 24/7."
"And I particularly like wearing it for weeks without taking it off."

"No issues with the Sense missing any distance."
"In terms of tracking, the fitbit wins hands down. ... It is and has been consistent with tracking data, downloading, and only lost a few days data when I needed a replacement charger."
"it's great at tracking those metrics"

"the charge capacity of the battery will very likely be a great deal less long before 500 cycles - like mine which gradually expired over 6 months outside the 2 year warrantee - the watch was still immaculate - but junk."
"I wouldn't be buying another one, because the integrated battery cannot be replaced."
"the watch stopped charging after a year and a half (luckily it was covered under their two year warranty)."
The scan watches seem to do all they claim - I don't use most of them - but I wouldn't be buying another one, because the integrated battery cannot be replaced. It's advertised to take 500 charge cycles - which is all well and good but that's an almost meaningless metric - the charge capacity of the battery will very likely be a great deal less long before 500 cycles - like mine which gradually expired over 6 months outside the 2 year warrantee - the watch was still immaculate - but junk.
r/withings • Would you recommend the ScanWatch 2? ->It is and I have the Nova and love it. But TBH I mean going beyond health and notifications.
r/withings • Scan watch 2 or Apple Watch ->i tested it for 2 days and i concur
r/withings • Would you recommend the Scanwatch 2? ->i used the old scanwatch nova and it's so different how native app integration is. apple is still the best just for this also with nova it scratches pretty easy. 2 days of sleep with it and so many micro scratches. i returned it. maybe this is better but for sleep. apple watch probably is best. also check the only reviews for accuracy. apple do sleep very well scanwatch is pretty tho
r/withings • Would you recommend the Scanwatch 2? ->I have both. And I’d say, if you have an iPhone absolutely nothing compares to the Apple Watch with apple health for features. But you’ll have to charge it every day. On the flip side the scanwatch looks more ‘grown up’ and like a nice quality watch. And the battery lasts much longer, probably 2 weeks min for me. (With notifications and stuff) Both will record what you need. but I think if you go for an Apple Watch you would appreciate all the extra functions you get if you use it with an iPhone, like Apple Pay, Apple Watch music, make calls, all the additional apps and customisable watch faces etc. Hope that’s helpful
r/withings • Scan watch 2 or Apple Watch ->Yeah that’s why I got one too, to also have a watch that had actual hands! Plus I recently had heart surgery so I still wanted something with hr monitoring etc! I think the scanwatch is a great watch and it’s nice to have something more formal looking for work!
r/withings • Scan watch 2 or Apple Watch ->The scanwatch is a great option if that’s what you’re looking for!
r/withings • Scan watch 2 or Apple Watch ->I must say even though I like my Apple Watch I really am also very fond of my scanwatch! They’re great watches
r/withings • Scan watch 2 or Apple Watch ->I find my scanwatch report hr and exercise pretty much in line with my Apple Watch tbh no noticeable differences when I switch them up. I always get a comment about my scanwatch people saying it looks nice as well which is nice! I really like both of them lol
r/withings • Scan watch 2 or Apple Watch ->Hi, I’ve had a Steel HR, a Scanwatch 1 38mm and a Scanwatch 2 Nova. Step counting is as good as my iPhone, when I have it in my pocket whole day. Sleep tracking is good enough for me. I use it mostly for design, battery, step counting and notifications. Notifications are my biggest need and here is my problem with it. I’m not sure to whether it depends but at some SW versions of the app/watch the notifications are not working. Then you have to wait 1-2 months until they release a version with given functionality. My problem is, I need the watch to get notified when calling/messaging from important persons (phone has to be quiet). So I love the design, the straps, the battery, but the issues with notifications let me think about a new Apple Watch.
r/withings • Would you recommend the Scanwatch 2? ->I've used a Scanwatch for three years and wouldn't recommend it for sleep tracking. It doesn't recognize biphasic sleep patterns and is inconsistent with daytime naps.
r/withings • Would you recommend the Scanwatch 2? ->I have the Nova and would recommend. It’s not going to have the features of a garmin. But what it does it does well. I also love the look of the nova, it’s a real watch with tech built in
r/withings • Would you recommend the ScanWatch 2? ->Been using Withings Scanwatch for 3-4 years. Battery still lasts around 20-25 days and what I like the most, it looks like a watch. Heart rate and SPo2 are measured properly based on comparing the monitors at the hospital few years ago. This older version also has ECG, sleep tracker with breathe monitoring and sports tracker. It can show incoming calls and show notifications but that's it for those functions. When I had proper smart watch, I disabled all the notifications after few weeks as I do not like get distracted 😅
r/smartwatch • To Android Smartphone Users, What's The Best Smartwatch You've Ever Had? ->I have a withings hybrid that I love. less ugly imo, was a decent price, and feels less like you have a piece of tech attached to you at all times. plus it measures everything I need and want
r/AskAnAustralian • Smartwatch recommendations. Time to switch from Apple? ->I have a Scanwatch and an Apple watch. I wear my Apple watch only when I am running. My scanwatch is always on my wrist. I love the looks and the battery life. It tracks my heart rate, sleep, and activity frequency and I get notifications. Apple watch doesn't look nice as a watch and the necessity to charge it every day is a big disadvantage.
